Reviews say they have good WiFi and cable. We get there - no cable. They say we can use their WiFi for streaming TV. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Wifi is non existent because it constantly loses connection. We ended up using our own hotspot. The sites are so small it is like camping at NHMS race track. They will not allow outside wood, even if it is from NH. You have to buy their VERY expensive wood.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. We are traveling with teens, and there are several activities for them to enjoy like basketball, bike rentals, roasting, marshmallows, swimming, pool, and fishing. The location is great because you can visit several neighboring cities. It’s quiet. The sites may be closer together than you may be used to so you will have to watch when pulling in. We were able to hook up just fine. You will need a card to get in and out of the gate.

Cheri was very accessible. Any questions I had she got right back to me.she was very personable, and helpful. We loved our spot, shaded, close to pool and wide. Hope to come back next summer. All the best to you Cheri, thanks again. Tobie

Best Campground around! The managers are amazing! They communicate efficiently and have a solution to any problem. You can tell they care about the Campground! We had so much fun on the pedal carts, pool, Gaga ball court, basketball court, and the play ground! The Christmas in July event was so much fun. Santa and the fire department came!! To see all the campers come together and celebrate is amazing! The people that reside here are so wonderful! You should check it out! You won't be disappointed 😁

Welcoming, helpful and makes it feel like home. As a first time camper backing an RV in was a bit daunting. The owner hopped right into our SUV, pulled up and backed the 30’ in first try. All with a smile after the Christmas in July celebration with my large standard poodle Gracie sitting in the backseat watching. There was quite the audience around with the festivities just ending. We felt welcomed by all and are enjoying the quiet and peaceful area. Would recommend to anyone!

From the moment Sheri greeted us at check-in we had an amazing stay at this campground. It was cozy, quiet and a total pleasure overall. Pool was amazing. Sheri, who was extremely lively and bubbly, explained that the campground was doing some upgrades but we thought it was perfect. My only suggestion was more outreach from the office about planned work scheduled onsite. Apparently they post the info on their Facebook page but transients like us did not get the information, as opposed to the larger seasonal group of guests. Either way, we loved our stay and hope to be back in the future.

Amazing Memorial Day weekend at Golden Acres visiting family! The band Divergent Strings was absolutely amazing. We all enjoyed and danced to almost everything you can think of. They have made so many improvements so far such as a train themed playground and are still adding more such as a camp store which I know will be an amazing addition. Definitely an amazing visit with awesome staff and other campers.

We typically go to their other campground, Winding River but saw they bought a new spot so had to try it out! This was their first season open and had some fun things for kiddos to do! Pool(biggest hit), brand new playground, and fun arts and crafts! Was smaller than Winding River but they plan to expand and add some of the same fun kid things like mining area. We had a nice relaxing weekend and the people that work there are the best! Would definitely go back!
