The campground is very nice, but I cannot get past the road noise. It's right on i5 so there is constant noise. The grounds are well kept and the staff is nice. We extended our stay to address some service on our truck and the staff was more than accommodating.

Pool & spa were closed for season, bit website did not state this. Disappointed us & family that we purchased a cabin for. Had to stay here due to convenience & time factors for a family member's wedding. Fortunately they agreed to a discount as we left 4 nights earlier than reserved & paid. The freeway that's right nextt door is very noisy to us country folks! Facility was clean.

Edited: We were checked in by John, who was was extremely helpful, professional, and kind. We got a wonderful spot and appreciated the time to discuss options that were available. Thank you for making it right, as we usually have had a good experience. Original review: They recently changed their policy in the middle of our annual membership where they assign spaces. It used to be first come first served. We called to discuss options or where our reservation spot would be they assigned us and Tina immediately was rude, short, and said she can't help us because they are booked for labor day. She can't move us and wouldn't answer any questions we had about it. We have a reservation starting the week before labor day and through labor day (8 nights), so why don't we have first come first serve for the entire section we are simply requesting? Why can't she say "hello" instead of her annoyed reply of "mmm-hmm" when I said "hello we have a reservation" ... zero customer service skills. Then she said she has a cold after I asked her if there was someone else I could talk to, as if that's a reason to treat a customer rudely. She said, "NOPE, there isn't!" Then I said I would call corporate since she isn't helping answer any questions and she said, "fine, GO FOR IT!" How professional of her. It's a bummer we have spent 7+ years paying for this expensive membership, mostly having friendly experiences - all for her to ruin our experience with Thousand Trails because of her bad attitude and lack of customer service skills. I hope someone else takes over their office and others don't deal with service like this for their family camping vacations. 😞

The staff are absolutely amazing. All really sweet and caring. We love our campsite. It seems every campsite is very private, surrounded by trees and quite large. Our campsite has a little wooded area that the kids love to play in. Its like having a private backyard. There are also hiking trails around the campground. We enjoy the weekend activities they hold. The staff puts in a lot of effort to make it fun! The pool is large, kept clean with plenty of seating. And has a building of bathrooms, showers and a changing area right there. Only negatives I have found is that I get absolutely zero cell service all over the campground (I have at&t) and the wifi a the clubhouse is baaad. You have to stay in one area by the front door to connect to it. And the store is only open on Saturday between 9am-2pm.

Beautiful property with a couple trails to explore. Sites are large and some are quite secluded feeling. Bathrooms are nice and the pool and hot tub are clean. The shower house at the pool could use a little TLC. Overall, a nice relaxing place that is well maintained and peaceful.

Consistently some of the worst customer service I have experienced in the Thousand Trails system. The employees are regularly rude every time I visit, and the manager is as bad as the staff she's hired. I have observed threatening behavior from their staff on several occasions. The amenities would be nice if they weren't consistently closed or broken. In the past they have close to their dump stations for months at a time and left visitors with nowhere to dump waste. There are only a couple of full hookup sites and they are never available. Cell phone reception is sometimes unreliable. There is no wi-fi. There are no dump stations at the site. The staff will ride around in their little golf carts and shout at you for speeding even when your speedometer says you are going under the speed limit. If you are looking for a positive experience on your next RV trip, go to the Thousand trails in La Conner or in Blaine instead.

As a family we love to camp here. Fun family activities!

Part of Thousand trails. Only 11 sites have full hookups. Probably best to show up on Wednesday. Good news is the ranger answered the phone! Starting this week you can have a campfire. Was nice but super scary because the trees by the fireplace have not been maintained. We were sure it would catch on fire. The hot tub spa is about 100 degrees and it was chilly out. No steaming for sure when you get out. Only 18+ can use it.

Mount Vernon campground isTHE BEST! We spent our three weeks there and had a wonderful experience because of the quality people that are employed there. Also, we appreciated that all rules were followed and everyone was treated equally. We had a positive experience with Amanda in the main office. She was WONDERFUL! Linda, the assistant manager, helped us very professionally with a small problem. We loved the friendliness and efficiency of Charlie and Carmen. Thanks to all who keep this campground running so smoothly!
