Mountain Stream is AMAZING! If you are looking for smaller cozy high quality campground with immaculate sites...this is it! Beautiful Stream you get to listen and enjoy the entire stay...as you relax and unwind with family and friends. The owners/staff are amazing and friendly. We recommend it to all of our friends and will continue to come. Thank you for sharing this amazing gem with all of us! See you soon 😊

This park is convenient to many areas in the smoky mountains and close to town of Lenoir for conveniences and restaurants. They had activities scheduled for the children on Saturday. Ice cream and a movie in the recently renovated primary Lodge House. They recently added a small swimming pool, which is very nice. There is a pond for fishing. Child splash was not operational with no anticipated repair. Cleanliness was an issue in the older lower bathhouse during our stay.

Mountain Stream RV Park is one of the best campgrounds I’ve visited. It’s incredibly quiet and offers plenty of shade, making for a relaxing stay. The sites along the stream are especially picturesque. There’s also a playground for kids, which makes it a great spot for families. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic camping experience!

A beautiful, quiet RV campground. Office staff very friendly and hospitable. Good location for touring the BRP. A word of warning, the bathrooms, although very clean, are small. Two toilets and two showers. I found at the end of the day I had to wait late into the evening to get a shower. All sites have black water hookup but it seems some do not want to use their RV showers. Our camper does not have a shower; only a cassette toilet. They have nice ponds for fishing w/o license requirements and a cute fenced in dog area. We were fortunate enough to be there when a family of musicians got together to jam under the pavilion. That was a lot of fun! Altogether, I highly recommend Mountain Stream RV park!

We stayed 2 nights. Quick get away to visit the quaint lovely town of Marion (about 20 min.) Mt. Mitchell is nearby the RV park but was closed for work/repairs. So we get to go back again for that adventure...and look forward to it. This RV park is SUPER clean, friendly staff, easy check-in. Camp store available if you forgot something. Buy your firewood before camp store closes for the day. The camp sites all back up to the stream with many sites having a private deck right by the water. So peaceful and beautiful. They have a small pond for fishing, a dog park, and a playground. There are 3 yurts available if you dont have an RV. Be sure to reserve online early, this us surely a popular place. No tent camping. Will definitely be back!

One of our favorite campsites to go to. This is our second time here, and it was better than the last. The location near the blue ridge parkway and so many different hiking trails makes it even better. The campgrounds are nestled in a valley surrounded on two sides by a beautiful stream. This creates a relaxing and restorative atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They bring the firewood right to your site for you. Highly recommended.

I chose Mountain Stream as a must stop for our first family calling trip based off the reviews and pictures I saw online. None of which did justice to how awesome and special this campground is. We really enjoyed the smaller nature of the campground and felt totally safe letting out 6yo and 8yo boys play in the stream that runs along the outside of the campground. Almost every campsite backs up to the water which is so awesome. Everyone we met/talked to was super friendly and helpful. All of the staff were the best! Shelby helped us out with a warm and inviting spirit. This is by far the cleanest and well organized campground I have ever been to. The only thing I could offer as a minor improvement is the addition of laundry facilities. I still give this wonderful place a solid five stars! We drove 6.5 hours to go here and would definitely do it again. Loved it! As a note, our bumper pull camper is 37’ hitch to bumper. We were able to pull up HWY 80 from Marion with no problems for clearance. We camped in site 26 which was a bit tricky backing in but once we figured it out it was easy!

Great place to disappear and forget where you are, literally as signal even with the wifi offered is pretty non-existent. Well maintained, but not much in the area, good if your just looking to hang around the campground. Not too far from Mt Mitchell. We just hung out at the park and did not venture off much was good for that purpose. All sites are right in front of dog park and playground. They did offer cable which we did not have a chance to utilize. Thay had an impressive library selection of DVD, games and sports equipment for rent, which is a nice touch. Level and easily navigable for any level RVer. Seemed like almost all of the sites except for the yurts were creekside, all with beautiful glossed out (wipable) picnic tables, many with decks over the creek.

This is a really nice RV park. It is small and very well kept. The office/store was really nice and the people were very friendly. They will even deliver firewood to your campsite. Just watch the turn to the left after you enter its a little tight.
