We have never used a private campground. We came in late and called to make arrangements for after hours arrival. I set up in the dark and a very nice gentleman and lady arrived, introduced themselves as the owners, and asked me if everything was good or if I needed anything. This was stunning to me at that hour. Second, the bathrooms were ridiculous compared to our past experience at public campgrounds. No bugs! It was warm! We had private bathrooms! This place was beautiful with a view of the mountains, sunset and sunrise and still close to Pittsburgh. Beautiful drive back and forth. This was an exceptional campground for my wife and me.

HIGHLY recommended as an absolute paradise to camp with your RV or trailer, within a short drive to Pittsburgh. The views are absolutely stellar (sunrise and sunset), and the facilities are pristine. The sites are not large (to be clear, very large space for parking, but not large space outside of the gravel driveway), so limited to a fire pit and sit around. But there is a huge common grass space for other play activities. Not a lot of shade, so you have to like the sun! We truly appreciated the peace and tranquility amidst are long drives and city activities. The self-serve check-in was super easy and efficient too!

Definitely a mountain top. We took our 39-foot motorhome here and had a great stay. For being at the top of a mountain the water pressure was great. It's not a huge campground so don't expect to see someone waiting at the counter to help. We didn't need any special services and the introverts love skipping the in-person interaction. The 4 out of 5-star rating is because the awesome view is blocked by RVs or trees if you have a middle area. It would be nice if there were a sunset viewing area on the west end. If that happens please add some fire rings. Active fires will help reduce bugs for folks. Great park if you want to be near Pittsburgh.

Campground is absolutely beautiful. It's not huge either so you don't feel crowded. The view is stunning, the drive up is a little harrowing though. The owner stopped by to greet us, he was very friendly and welcoming. No issues with the full hook up. The shower/bathroom/laundry building is impeccable. We chose this location because of how close to Pittsburgh it is, we spent our time sightseeing.

Wonderful experience if you like the country. Quiet, peaceful, sites are spacious and well maintained. Full hookups on flat gravel lots. There was a very small amount of leveling. Dods are allowed. Roads after leaving the main road are paved but in the hills with twists and turns.

We stayed in 45 one night and 47 the other! Both great sites with amazing views. I recommend using the owner recommendations for getting there. Peaceful and quiet! We loved our stays!

Not a family campground, if you are just passing thru and have a RV , then I guess that's all it's good for

Very busy time but they still made a place for us. My brother passed away suddenly and it was labor day weekend. We drove from Texas, they made us feel welcome.

This review is long, but I wanted to make sure I painted an accurate picture of this campground for future guests so they truly knew what to expect. So I am putting the full detailed review in images because Google has a text limit. Mountain top has a beautiful view of the rolling hills below, a nice, clean restroom, with the option to do laundry or shower for an additional fee. It has a specific target audience of guests, but truly is not a typical family camping experience. This campground would be perfect if you were looking for a place to park and sleep while you visit the city of Pittsburgh. Or perfect if you were an elderly retired couple looking to relax together. But we can't recommend it for families wanting to camp together and hang out together, or even really for kids in general.

I stayed here for 3 years while in the area for work. Great little camp ground. Quite, courteous, and very nice owners. Wish all camp grounds were this friendly and enjoyable!
