We had a lovely experience staying at the Mounthaven resort. We stayed in the Birch cabin and it was perfect. A little more secluded than some of the other cabins and the location of the resort is spectacular. You are at the entrance of Mount Rainier within minutes. Will definitely use this place again!

Our experience at Mounthaven was exceptional. We met Shalise right away. She was sweet and attentive letting us know we could contact her with any questions. When we had trouble with our trailer she recommended a mobile rv technician. We contacted him and he went over and above to help us. Great recommendation! We had to stay a couple nights in one of their cabins. It was quaint, clean, and exactly what we needed. We also observed how hard Shalise works after seeing her in the laundry while we were washing clothes on a rainy day. She is a gem for Mounthaven. By the way, other workers we engaged there were also wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention, it is only a half mile to Mt Rainier National Park.

The location is great... Just a 1/2 a mile from the park entrance. The setting is gorgeous with beautiful tall trees, wonderfully shady. The property driveway is difficult to spot. I would recommend some larger signage. We stayed in Pine cabin, which was very clean and very sweet inside. My complaints are these: I had left 2 messages with the office asking simple requests and a call back and never heard from anyone. The road noise was annoying. Pine cabin is fairly close to the road as far as the layout of the property. If you're looking for a lot of quiet, this is not it. The cabin had bare minimum. Most vacation properties supply simple things like salt and pepper and coffee filters. Don't expect any extras. And lastly, we paid over a thousand dollars for 3 nights. I will do better planning in the future.

A wonderful gem minutes from the park entrance. The Pine cabin was cozy, charming and spotlessly clean. Kids absolutely loved the twin beds upstairs, the creek for exploring and the swing set. Highly recommended for families looking for a base to do day hikes at Mt Rainier- trailheads are 15 minutes away.

Friendly owners. Good communication before arriving and understanding when we were a bit late checking in. Nice grounds. We stayed in an Rv spot 2 and it was roomy enough. Some of the other spots were closer together so even though we were closest to the road (couldn’t hear much anyway), it was still more private. We enjoyed the little playground for our kiddo. Not sure what qualifies it as a “resort,” but it had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and return!

We would love to stay at your place in September but didn't get a reply on our emails of phonecalls. We would really like to get in touch with you.

If a "cabin in the woods" idea scares you, don't be! The cabins here are modern, comfortable, and cozy. You have everything you could need, and we're so glad that we're choosing to have our wedding here next year. Seriously, don't hesitate to come relax for a few nights to enjoy nature!

We stayed in the Hemlock cabin and it was wonderful! We hiked a ton in the park during the day and it was the perfect place to kick our feet (very tired feet) up after a long day of adventure. The proximity to the park was awesome, and there are are a few great nearby restaurants to grab a meal. The fireplace was nice, the heater worked just as well when we ran out of firewood 🪵! The kitchen is perfect for heating up leftovers or a snack. Very clean, super cute! Definitely recommend
