We enjoyed the Planetarium in Kinston! It wasn't as big as other museums, but was Kid-friendly. It had a lot of things for little kids to play with.

Neuseway Nature Park has a positive vibe and is a great place to play and discover nature. The museum and animal exhibits add an unexpected experience especially the basement cave. There are also a bird exhibit behind the building. Playgrounds, train cars, museum, river and campground. Neuseway truly has something for everyone.

Staff in the animal center are so nice but them young kids that are in the other building with the play food and fire truck center are RUDE! The park is overall fun but seems to always have parts that are broken and not stable. The train never works anymore. But my three kids do like the atmosphere outside and LOVE to see the animals

This is my getaway place! I have to ride through here and hang out here at least once a week. The park is very clean yet very natural.

Really needs loads of updated equipment. Decks are rotting, lots are a little iffy, kind of trashy. Grills are not useable. It really just needs a good sprucing. The playground has a few concerns for safety. It does have a neat Science center and a neat Nature Center. The Science center could use a good cleaning. The nature center has a underground area in the basement for sighting. If the price for camping is cheap. I can see why. It could really use some help.

Nature park as a whole is a GEM! With the playground, campground, picnic shelter, live animal exhibits and right next to the planetarium! The campground has many sites for RV’s and limited tent sites. The bathrooms are very far from primitive camping and I would not suggest this option for families with young children. Not all camp sites are treated equal. Many numbered ones have water and electric and full hookups, but the tent sites are not numbered, do not all have a water spigot, do not all have a picnic table and do not all have a fire ring with grill. You can hear road noise and trains throughout the night in a tent.
