I hope the new owner has at least 1/4 mill to spend on this place. 8 ft. Between Riggs is Not plenty of space. Needs about 1000 yards of crushed stone to cover up the mud. A third of the sites need to go in order to make decent size sites. The one other camper in a line of about 15 pull thru sites and she placed us right beside it. Someone stole stuff out of the back of my truck. Side by sides screamed through at 10 at night Way over the speed limit. Not impressed.

The campground has a lot of great perks - showers/bathrooms, pool, mini putt putt, indoor games, daily trash pick up, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the very, very muddy site #12 - absolutely do not recommend this site! It was so muddy we really couldn't use the fire pit or picnic table without getting our shoes caked with clay-ey mud. It rained our second night and the road drained through this site, coating our camping mat with mud and leaving standing puddles in the site. Other sites looked to fair better!

We absolutely LOVE this campground! Mary is wonderful and has been very kind and helpful to us every single stay here! Campsites, pool, showers, bathrooms, and store/game room are ALWAYS clean. We continue to return trip after trip all the way from the Detroit area.

My husband and I loved camping here at Newberry campground, the owner and staff are the best, they are supper friendly and helpful. They have a heated swimming pool, mini golf, a playground, basketball, horseshoes. Clean showers and bathrooms. They have a store with a game room and most everything you need for camping. We planned on staying 5 days we ended up staying almost 2 weeks. We met a lot of very nice people from all over the U.S. We plan on going to this campground again. This campground is the best!

5 plus stars. The pool is heated by wood fire. Super cool. Bathrooms and showers are older but well maintained. Washer and dryer onsite. I was swimming in the pool with my boys, I knew my laundry was done and when I went down to get it, the wonderful owner had it folded!! Wonderful service!! Gorgeous flower landscape at the front, we will definitely be back for longer stay next time!

We stayed here for a couple of days as a family and with friends. The sign from the road might be easy to miss but other than that, the bathroom, showers and laundry were clean and very well maintained. Owner was very nice. They come and pick up your garbage, they also have a service where they come and empty your tanks if you have an rv/camper for $25. We really liked that! You dont even have to be there for them to empty it. You would have to drive about an hour to get to major attractions ( Mackinaw City, Pictured Rocks) its not bad, we didn't mind it. Would definitely recommend this campground.

This is a pretty decent, quiet campground (at least in mid-September). The bathrooms, showers, laundry, and putt putt need some updates— nothing crazy! Deep clean, fresh paint, some new fixtures would do so much for this place. Trash service is great and all the employees were great, too. Downsides are the creepy co-ed showers and laundry area, and the pool was closed even though it was 85° each day we were there.

We camped in a tent, which I DO NOT recommend. Although the park is amazing at night, nice and quiet.... the traffic in the morning is obnoxious and starts around 4:30 am. I also must say I have NEVER in my life used a port a potty that was as full as the ones they provided. It literally was to the top. Ewww. If you have your own camper, then this is the place for you. The people that run it are absolutely amazing. And the pool was super warm.

We stayed from a Tuesday to Saturday in August 2024 and were so happy to be here. The showers and toilets were clean and taken care of. The owners were friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice, clean and enjoyable. Our tent spot was shady. We ended up on a hilly spot, but were able to set up our tents and pagoda to keep ourselves comfortable. We would stay here again, and highly recommend you do as well! Also it was a very quiet place!

Pool is very warm and kids liked the mini golf. Part of our stay was during a dirt bike convention. The dirt bike riders around us were considerate and didn’t start their bikes until 8 am or later and stopped riding before quiet hours. Management was great!
