When I called to book a site, I explained that my motorhome did not have a leveling system. The very friendly staff put me in the most level spot they had available, offered suggestions for leveling block placement, and checked up on me later to make sure that it was OK.

Super nice gentleman that helped me get a spot and the showers are very clean. Other than the interstate this is a quit campground. I was on that side but it wasn't bad at all considering I was in a tent. Check them out and the rate is great. Thanks for everything.

Cons: gravel site was mostly grass that hadn't been mown in some time; Water connection was just inches above the ground making it difficult to make connection (I pulled away grass/weeds to comfortably get to it); place seemed run down; while appears to be just off I-40, it's a bit of a twisty drive to get there. Pros: Nice greeting when we arrived; bathroom and showers are very new.

Rented a cabin for the weekend. Had mini fridge , AC, small sink and toilet. Friendly staff. Well kept grounds. No pool, pond(pond is gone)or dog park(that we could find). Great location to all the activities in the area and lake Douglas, without being in all the traffic. You can hear the interstate from outside the cabin. Very small KOA. Remodeled showers very nice. It has a lot of potential but right now not many amenities. Nearby downtown Newport is nice and still has a lot of cute shops open on main Street. Overall satisfied with stay.

We rented a cabin with a half bath for 3 days. We arrived early and they had the most wonderful hospitality. The bathroom/shower house was amazingly clean and very beautiful. The location was perfect view of mountains and close to NC and TN fun.

Had an amazing stay with the family, all the workers we're nice and very helpful. They are under new ownership and trying to update everything the previous owners just let go. There was some noise from the machinery but that's understandable when you see all the updates they've made! Almost a different campground!! Karla helped us with everything she could and made us feel as welcome as possible. One of the grounds man, I think his name was Jeff, was very helpful and even went out of his way to escort us to our site, helped me carry firewood so my wife didn't have to, and treated my kids and wife with the upmost respect. Will definitely recommend this campground to everyone and will for sure be staying again. Ive seen a lot of complaints about uneven sites but thats what they make leveling Jack's for😅 it is the smoky MOUNTAINS it's not gonna be flat

We drove in and the whole entrance was under construction. Our site was not level. The picnic table was small and dirty. The site itself was gravel and rock. It was not level and it difficult to unhitch. We had no cell service or Wi-Fi. Our cable did not work. When we asked about wi-fi we were first told a storm had knocked out. Later we were told it really was barely enough for the main office. Someone came out and split our cable but we needed to drive into town to make calls. I do not recommend this campground.

Stayed there for a couple days. It was nice enough. There was no wifi at all and was told there hasn't been any for months. Basically false advertising at this point if it's been months without it. People are nice and they seem to be trying to renovate the park or something. Otherwise it's pretty quiet other than the high way, but that can be easily ignored if that doesn't bother you. Oh and those cabins are very cute. Didn't stay in one, but they look nice from the outside, especially with the Christmas lights. The lights should stay up all year, would be cute.
