We were very impressed with our camping experience at Oak Beach Park campground. The staff were inviting, and even handwrote a thank you for staying with us note! The campground was quiet, and the bath house was clean and has DVD's and magazines for use if desired. There is a washer and dryer to use for a small fee, but the showers are free. The beach access is directly across the street and has a pavilion, bathrooms and a park. There is also a convenience store at the head of the campground that sells minimal grocery items, ice cream, and makes pizza!

A nice spot to see in your bike or stop and unwind for a moment.

Lots of debris in the water but clears up quickly as you get out. 3 sandbars before you reach chest deep even.

This park has always been a nice place to take our family for an outing. The playground and pavilions are well kept. We have used this facility off and on for decades with our children and their children. Friends also. Not many places still have the steel playground equipment that I enjoyed as a youth. It sure would be nice to see them kept for future generations. The bearings on the merry-go-round are shot. It would be nice if donations were able to be given to replace the bearings. I'm sure it will cost to replace.
