Please beware of that place. Garbage piled up in trash bins . Water is not safe for drinking. The park looks absolutely nothing like the web site. Very dirty and messy. Laundry room very small. Most washing machine out of order. They don’t repair. Wi-Fi very slow.

Very bad place. Don’t come. Don’t waste your money. I’m a long term guess . They only ask money from you . They don’t take care of the place. The washing machine always has issues. Always out of order. I have to go out to do my laundry. I also have No WiFi for two months. They said going to fix around 10 days. No one comes to fix . My family decided to move a different RV park. They don’t refund my deposit money. They said for cleaning. I already cleared everything. I won’t come back again.

Car camping. Perfect location toward Anza. Quiet, clean, showers & bathrooms by main office (we used in AMs) clean. Very well managed. Pool & jacuzzi (warm water) bonus. Gym equipment extra bonus. Mick answered our calls till wee hrs as we mistakenly took Fwy 10 east & had to turn around a ways. Definitely would return.

Mick is one of the greatest guys in the world that I ever met! Don’t believe the haters and the fake reviews here. He’s great and his family is great they are very good and loving people.

I was planning to leave two stars, but then the showers didn’t have any water so I’m leaving 1 in the hopes our experience will help with improvements. We arrived to checkin on a Saturday, and the office was closed (website says it’s open 9-4:30 everyday). We called the number listed on the door, no answer. There was a site number listed on our reservation so we proceeded there, but there was a very dusty camper already in that site. We dialed the number again and the person on the other end (not sure who?) was confused that we were checking in but ultimately was able to direct us to a different site. That site wasn’t labeled so we had to circle around again and just assume that’s where we were supposed to be. Over the phone no one told us where to find the bathrooms/showers so we ended up asking people at the pool, who passed along a code to the bathroom door. I’m not sure why there would be a code to the bathrooms, which made me nervous. No idea if this was the bathroom for guests to use, because it was not attended to in days (empty TP rolls sat empty for three days, two stalls were locked (maybe out of order? unclear) so we had to break into them to get the TP left in there). When I finally decided that I would use the showers, none of them had running water. Over the phone they mentioned cash only for payment for the second night (not mentioned in reservations, but that was fine with us). We were told someone would come around to collect it, but over three days (two nights) no one came to collect. We also tried seeing if the office was open at another time, and it wasn’t. It’s worth noting that we were not there during festival time; we were a mom and daughter (67 and 41 years old) here exploring the national park. This was less a campground, and more a place where people live but also allows camping.

Just finished spending the better part of 2 months at this location in site R13. Really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. Mick is doing a great job fixing up the place and very friendly/easy to talk to. Reading through some of the negative comments about this business; I have to scratch my head and wonder if maybe the problem is with the reviewer. All of the staff are friendly, the cooled pool is great-especially when the temps are hitting 100+. By far the best RV Park the area.

This is a great place to stay! The grounds are tailored for seasonal snow birds but I spent two nights here in a tent while passing through and it was great. The people who stay here long term make a welcoming community and really enjoy living here. The property has fire pits, grills, pool, hot tub, pool table and much more. The family managing the property are welcoming and friendly to everyone. Even if only staying for a night they will learn your name and take the time to chat with you.

Don’t pay attention to older reviews of this nice place. The new owners have made it a lovely place to stay. Some sites are close together while others have more space. Heated pool and hot tub!! Awesome! Club house with many things to do. Fenced in dog run is great. Full hookups. Two laundry rooms and two clean shower/restroom buildings. Tennis / pickle ball courts. Only downside is they have a well with water you can’t drink. They have a reverse osmosis system for filling bottles. Oh, and no picnic tables or fire rings. But Mick and Emma are so nice and helpful. We’re staying for a month and enjoying it very much!

A great place out of the city! We stayed a month and enjoyed the heated pool, grass, and dog park! Recently under new management and have been working really hard to make improvements. We loved the fresh produce trees on site and the views of the date tree farms. We hope to come back in the future!

Great people , but management is hot and cold. Mike is ok until you have an issue. Park is being leased as the owner didn't want to deal with it any more. Considering the pandemic and the cancellation of the annual music festival for this year and possibly next and the fact that Canadian's will not be going south this year....be very suprised if the park is still operating after this season. Don't put a deposit down... Also If you have an issue with the manager for any reason be prepared to be treated poorly. Also if you look at posts for the last year on here and other review sites , you will see that they no longer honor Passport America, but only tell you that once you arrive. 2021 winter update: Heard from friends that decided to stay at this park and turns out the park didn't follow Cali Covid mask mandate and allowed indoor activities and it ended up having an exposure causing people to have to be tested and self isolate after people at one of the indoor activities that the manager was present for , tested positive for Covid. Manager seems to feel rules do not apply to his park. Stay away from this park. See attached newsletter that was sent by the manager........would you want to stay at a place that has these problems Update......Manager called and left messages using my contact info on their system. called several times making threats and left voice mail . also check trip adviser to see what others have experienced at this park and this manager. We will pass on any further threats or calls to authorities. We do wish the park success in the future , but it will not be a place we will return to an d there are several long term snowbirders that will not be returning.
