This KOA is the poster child for what a KOA Journey should be. What the owners have done to provide spacious, level, and well-maintained sites should be a required study for virtually every KOA franchisee. The staff was friendly and effective. The two dog parks were enjoyed by our canine companion. Although the park is close to I-80, we really didn't notice much noise. The sky is dark and largely free of light pollution so stargazing was delightful. Shopping and fuel are very convenient. If you have time, visit Front Street for some selfies, and also check out Boot Hill. We'll definitely stay here again when passing through!

We just rolled in about 5 minutes ago and thank you so much already! We had decided to stay at the Walmart lot, even called ahead to check. It was a dirt lot already full of trucks. The I-80 koa was right down the road and very welcoming. Very helpful. I haven't even gotten out of the rig yet and it's stars from me Clean and pretty, and well groomed. The office was polite and helpful. Glad to be here😀

This park is owned by a nice younger couple who are just trying to make a living so I’m not happy to give them a less-than-stellar review. There are few amenities that would bring someone there for a vacation – it’s just an overnight parking spot with fairly new facilities. Unfortunately, the owners made a very poor choice for a location. Yes, it’s convenient just off I-80, but it is literally a stone’s throw from I-80 traffic as well as a busy train track very nearby. We aren’t usually bothered by those noises because our coach is well sound protected, but this location is bad in that regard. Worse yet, because of the current construction on I-80, semi tractors are using their engine brakes 24-7 to slow down in the construction zone, and that noise is even louder than the trains. They built the park in an area where the soils are organic material and moisture-retaining clays. They have attempted to place enough gravel to make it work, but it looks it is a full-time job for them to maintain the roadways after each rain. I would definitely not want to stay there on a rainy day. This would have been a 3-star review, but their actions after I left the facility caused me to drop a star. As I pulled out, I kept to the left side of the exit road (so others could get by) and stopped at the dump station to wash my filthy windshield before I hit the road (I was facing directly into the sun parked in our spot). I was within the roadway the entire time, but there was a very muddy/soft spot on the left, and after I had left the park, they charged my credit card $50 for “damage to the drainage”. No barricades, no signs, nothing to indicate that a part of the roadway could not handle normal motorhome traffic. I’ll fight that battle, but for the audacity to do that, they lose another star. To “punish” me, they banned me from future stays. I’m in complete agreement with that move.

Helpful and friendly staff and well kept spots. We opted for a premium site which came with a BBQ. Very nice, but it is so close to the freeway that we could hardly hear each other speak. The freeway never stops at night and there are also trains running nearby most hours.

We booked this just minutes before arrival when our site at Lake Ogallala State Park was inaccessible due to trees. The staff in the office was AMAZING and super helpful in getting us booked and greeting us with a warm welcome. The park is very clean, well run and the sites are very spacious. The have a great dog play/potty area with artificial turf and it's kept spotless. Easy on/off from I-80 and it's right down the road from the TA Truck stop so it's convenient to fuel up on the way in or out. If we were in the area again, I would definitely stay here and recommend for rigs of any size especially big rigs that don't fit in the nearby State parks.

Right off I80 very convenient! Sites are all nicely level with river rock. Full hookup available. It was 107 (!) staff still was out, greeted us, took us to our site and guided us in. They asked about our trip and were very friendly. Great little dog park had enough room to throw a ball & sit on a shaded bench! Bathrooms were immaculate!!! We WILL return!

Close to the freeway but not too noisy. Stayed here for one night passing through. Very nice staff, clean park and nice size sites. Better than some KOA “holidays” and this is a “journey”! 2 kamp K-9’s and the premium sites had a private little enclosure for dogs!! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat if I was passing through. Great WiFi as well.

Easy on/off I 80. You are greeted by a nice couple in the office. Super friendly, professional and helpful. The grounds are well groomed, with roomy level graveled spots. An added bonus are spotless restrooms and showers. This was a great overnight stop, after a long windy day on I 80.

Very rude front desk. Admittedly I made a mistake in booking a reservation using KOA points. When I said we would need to cancel that reservation, she said repeatedly "his will cost me money." But then she incorrectly told me that my points were gone so I couldn't use them. When I started to protest she told me to follow him and he would lead me out if the park. I called KOA customer support and they said my points were immediately credited back to my account and I could have used them. I won't try stay there again. First bad KOA experience in 12 years.
