We had a comfortable campout. The sites were clean, and so was the nearby restroom.

Not suitable for staying without an RV. The 3 out of 4 restrooms are pit toilets, one is locked for maintenance. You can use it in extreme urgent conditions. No lights in the restroom. The water facility is not tap water, just only one hand pump for the entire camp ground with 43 lots, which is far away from camp sites. The river front is accessible across the road.

We have stopped at this campground a few times, and it doesn't disappoint. There were plenty of open sites when we stopped, and looked around but I can see this place full of campers during any holiday. There is a hand water pump and I would advise filtering the water for drinking. If you do stay, please make sure your campfires are out. On our last visit, we came upon an empty campsite with a fire still smoldering.

One of our favorite campgrounds. I understand the appeal of dispersed camping, but too often you are roaming around trying to find a spot. Kaner is reservable and inexpensive (comparatively speaking). I like knowing I for sure have a place to camp. It has outhouses so you can save your black tank. Many of the sites are huge. We were able to get two trailers in one spot and just pay the extra vehicle fee. Beautiful forest and river. There is a store down the highway if you need to resupply. Drive up to Raven's Roost or up to Mount Rainier. We like to go to Boulder Cave. Plenty to do.

We piggybacked on our friends’ camping trip to Kaner Flat. Site 36 was big enough to fit a truck camper, a 26’ bumper pull camper, and a 33’ motor home. Nice clean sites, fairly level, no hookups so make sure you prepare to boondock. Vault toilets get pretty raunchy by the end of each day but are cleaned each morning. Close proximity to good swimming in the river just on the other side of the main road from the campground. Camp host was very nice and helpful but almost overbearing.

Nice campground in really good condition. More suited for RVs and people with toys. Bathrooms smelled really good for being the end of the year.

Clean campground. Pay for use. Reservable sites. Camp host. Vault bathrooms. Dumpster garbage facilities. Frost free water accesses. Paved road and trailer sites. At least 2 handicapped/paved camp area with tables and BBQ stand. Fire pit and table at each site. River nearby. Hike trails nearby. Some camp sites are far too close together for not being a group site, some are close to be used as a group site.
