Updated hours as of June 24, 2025. Peggy was kind in helping me get a national parks pass. Some maps and souvenirs inside you can browse and purchase. Highly recommend this location.

This place changes it's hours whenever it wants, don't trust the info you find online for hours! Lesson learned for this guy who wasted the diesel and over 2hrs of time to go there and find out via something stuck to their door that are closed.

I just had such a positive experience here. Gail's friendly and helpful attitude was a ray of hope in my otherwise unfortunate day. If not for her willingness to help, I may still be stuck riding my motorcycle in the rain with a broken hand! Also, this is a great place to get your maps, educational books on the local flora and fauna, patches, etc. Support your parks!

Rangers are prepared with useful information here. Local trail maps and nature books to help navigate through the Olympic National Forest and surrounding areas. It's a good idea to stop here to learn about the trail conditions and closures.
