Oregon Dunes KOA Holiday
Welcome to ODKOA. We are an off-road campground. We have quads and side by sides riding in and out all day!! We are not your normal KOA!
This is the only full-service privately owned campground on the southern Oregon coast with full ATV and ORV access to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Off-road vehicles are in/out of the campground from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. If this sounds exciting, then this is the place for you!
You're just 10 minutes by car or 2 miles by ATV through the dunes to get to the beach. Steve's ATV Rentals has ATV/UTV rentals nearby. The camp store sells off-road themed T-shirts, gifts, groceries and more. A new rec room can be enjoyed by all. Summer events for kids and adults include a huge Jump Pad, mini dunes, free catch-and-release fishing, paddle boats and ice cream socials that feature 20 different toppings to put on your chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Dig into an ice cream social after a hayride behind our yellow Minneapolis Moline tractor.
An Easter egg hunt starts off the season, Halloween festivities in the fall add to the fun and a Thanksgiving potluck rounds out the other seasonal activities.
Max pull thru: 95 feet. Come meet your new hosts Steve and Laverne!!
If you book your site online and cannot find the date you are interested in, be sure to call us! If you are booking a tent site and do not have ATV's, we suggest you call us to discuss your options. We want to be sure you have a great experience at Oregon Dunes KOA.
We hope to see you soon!

We had a great two-night stay at the Oregon Dunes KOA. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our camping cabin was clean, comfortable, and convenient with a fridge and microwave. The mattress was surprisingly decent for a camping cabin, and with my own bedding from home I was quite cozy. The cleaning product smell in the cabin was a bit strong, and the bathrooms were a bit of a walk from our cabin, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Their stores are stocked amazingly! There was a couple of items I needed like a dishwashing sponge, and bar soap and they had it. I didn’t have to go to the grocery store. Very quiet after 10 pm til 8am. We were in a tent. Very reasonably priced. Thank-you.

Great place with easy Dune access, proximity to town for other services. Special shout out to office crew April, Chris and Tonya for keeping space available for our trailer while we dealt with a medical emergency. Without this we would have been moving day to day. THANK YOU

I stayed here on my way up the Oregon coast as part of my cross-country trip. I was very disappointed in the level of service and the campground. If you are into riding the dunes then it's for you. But for people like me that just wanted a quiet place to recoup, then pass it by. I originally planned on staying for 2 nights, but after realizing I was in the wrong place, I cancelled my 2nd night, but the campground did not advise me of their policy and did not refund my 2nd night already paid for.

Great experience. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. My son had a great time jumping on the bounce pad, riding on the train and eating ice cream. We were comfortable and cozy in the caboose #1.

Great RV and cabin location if you plan to enjoy the dunes, direct access from site to dunes.

We had a good time and the staff is great.BUT, The sites are mud. I'm a contractor, fixing this with some clean up , regrade, and gravel wouldn't be hard. A group on the night of the 10th was fighting all night. No one did anything to stop it. Kid's used the campground as a race track, never riding out of camp just though it with no adults anywhere. Nothing was done about it. I hope you can get some things fixed before our next visit. We had 8 sites and everyone feels the same way. You can't fix it if you don't know it's broke.

Don't be fooled by the cabins.. they have just about the worst "mattresses" in them. You can feel the wood slats right through them. Bring a mattress pad if you are renting a cabin. All four of us were down right miserable. We missed our air mattress which I personally didn't think I would ever say. Other than that the cabins were decent, they have little heaters in them which is nice at night when it's cold out. Their firewood was wet and most of campers that came in our large group had a hard time getting their fires to light or stay burning and you can only use their wood( for a totally understandable reason) but at least make it usable. Showers are hot. Overall it was a decent experience.

Killer spot. We just popped in off the dunes to check it out. Great little store. Killer dune access. Quad shop down the path. Great play area for kids and even a special dune spot to ride just for them!! We booked a stay and can't wait to hit it up.!

Very friendly staff and family oriented. It's not just camping, they also have cabins and lodges. One of the biggest and best KOAs I've ever been to and directly on the dunes!! Unfortunately, they can't find enough employees to do a lot of the fun stuff they normally do like the zip line, paddle boats, ice cream socials, ax throwing contests, etc etc. Of course these are more summertime things and hopefully by then they will have enough employees to make it even more fun. But a very nicely kept property with people always around to help if needed.
