We're full time rv travelers. First off. We weren't aware that there is a 12.00 difference from the website price. And when you get there price. Then only cash. So it turned into an extra 84.00 for the week. We were already hooked up at that point. This was all a very first for us after years of traveling. Blamed it on not updating the website. Other then that the campground wasn't bad. Not sure if we'll be back. But it would have been nice to have been warned ahead of time on the price change, and only cash.

I stayed at the non electric sites and had a really good time just existing and testing out my gear for a few days. Kelly is an awesome camp host and was incredibly helpful for many, many things. I'll definitely remember her as a very tough, respectable, and inspiring woman. There's bluegill that swim close to shore and I was able to catch one with just some fishing line, a bobber, and a little bait. Bull frogs at night were very soothing. If you want a good view of the night sky this is a gorgeous place to do it. I will say that if you are looking for more private camping this is definitely not private. Lol. However, the campers across the boat launch, 2 in particular, were very kind for helping me with some stuff. 10/10 would return for another stay. 💜

I live very close to the beach area. Recently they have put up noise deterrents, at least 3 very loud devices. These gems start around 7pm and continue ALL NIGHT. The geese are completely unphased by the chaos. I have made multiple complaints as they are violating MI noise ordinances. The noise (sirens, geese distress cries, ship horns, and other lovely sounds) continues. It has become necessary to seek legal action. Otherwise, the lake is beautiful.

I was riding the cross country route 20 on bicycle. I initially paid $40 for the night in a rustic spot. The host came by later and corrected that. She told me that cross country riders camp free. Very nice camp right on the lake. Bullfrogs singing! Nice town!

Overall,a very great experience. The primitive sites were clean, fishing was great, reasonably priced, and friendly service. It is near a nice little town with a gas station that sells firewood and other items you might need. Jasper's Diner is within walking distance and has great food. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a great Father's Day weekend!

Super nice great spot to fish and swim and the entire fee has been $5 for a car or $2 per person for years

Very clean park and managed well! Good fishing spot! If you have a kayak find your way to the path that leads to the back section of the park!

When I first arrived at this campground there was a stop sign, small shack, and some rules posted non relevant to driving to the campsites. I stopped wasn't approached nor flagged down by the two employees sitting in the shack, so I drove on back to where my dad was camping. I opened my door and there was an older woman with blonde/white hair walking up and immediately started harassing me. I had no idea who she even was, when I finally gathered that she was an employee, I told her I was just following my dad's instructions on how to get to his camp site and apologized for the inconvenience, stated I was only visiting and will wave at her the next time I pass through (her reason for harassing me) Her response was "do you want to be removed from the park?" This was my first/last time ive ever been here, and heard this is normal behavior from this woman. Extremely unprofessional, not an enjoyable experience. I do not recommend staying here.

Small Town beach ⛱️🏖️ Great water conditions. Sandy Beach. Great place to just relax for the day without alot of hustle and bustle. Stores nearby make it easy for grabbing things you may need or forgotten. There is a small campground next to the beach

Went there for the Underwater Pumpkin carving contest with the Dive Shop. Campgrounds are clean and well taken care of. Great place to go.
