I can’t say enough about this place and its staff. They kept me updated before my arrival about the status of my room and being able to check in. Check in was easy and they provided a lot of information on the area. The room was very clean, cute, and accommodating. I had questions though out my stay and the people working there answered all of them and made suggestions and it was all great. Even if you don’t have a room or RV site the river is just a few steps away. The store has everything you would need and things you didn’t think you would need or want. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and if I get a chance to get out that way again that’s the only place I’ll stay!

What a wonderful experience! We stayed here while visiting our good friend Paula who moved from NC to Ouray. Paula is also helping manage the Smokehouse Restaurant (which is a must for dinner and brunch). The location is perfect as well as beautiful - walkable to downtown and hot springs. The convenience store on the property has a great selection of snacks and necessities. We stayed in one of the riverside cabins -- quiet and well appointed accommodations. We are looking forward to visiting again very soon! Keary and Donald - Charlotte NC

Ismael, Austin, Harry and a team of other staff whose names I missed made this our third awesome visit to Ouray Riverside Resort. The RV spaces, flowers and landscaping, dining, staffing, laundry, grounds, bathrooms, check-in and out experiences were all top notch. THIS is how I’d run this business- well done! The owners are obviously good folks to work with as they have amazing staff and procedures and service criteria that make EVERY aspect excellent. We’ll be back for a fourth visit next year. Thank you!

I'm writing this review just because Liz & Dean were so amazing and kindest people ever :') I didn't actually stay here but came here multiple times for various reasons while boondocking not too far from Ouray. The first time I came to dump my tanks and I was a bit nervous about backing up my rig since that's my least favorite part and so Dean came out and guided me. He is heaven sent :') Liz said I was welcome to stay until a certain time to use the showers and laundry facility and even hook up my rv if needed. Unfortunately I needed to hurry off to my boondocking spot before it got too late and so she kindly accommodated me and let me come back the next day 🥺 A nice hot long shower is always so appreciated when living on the road. :') The shower & laundry area was great too. We came back a couple other times to do laundry again and fill up propane. I just really love people like them, their energy is so kind and pure. I would've stayed here if I wasn't on a budget. Also, Harry and another young boy working there with glasses and blonde hair (forgot his name :/) were super helpful too. On my way out of Ouray, I stopped by because I smelled a burning smell coming from my tires. They explained so thoroughly that it was my brakes and that was common coming down from the mountain where I was. They even showed me how to change my gears which I had no idea where the button was for that. Thank you to the amazing staff here for always being willing to help and for being so kind! :')

Liz and Austin were our office representatives and they were both excellent and very friendly. Harry one of the maintenance guys was extremely helpful multiple times. Beautiful setting for the campground and we would go back. another maintenance man who was very helpful as well. It was nice and quiet and dark promoting good rest at night they have washers and dryers and a small game room, decent bathrooms and showers. Everything was kept nice and clean, including the grounds. Thank you very much Riverside Resort Ouray Colorado. Rich and Rose.

I found out real fast that this place website is made of lies. I rented the "Riverside Cabin" and got stuck in the cabins that are roadside. No where near the river. The website and photos make it look like you have bathrooms in your rooms as well, but it's all a shared a bathroom and shower. The website says there are hot tubs, which is true. They are also shared hot tubs. My issue was that there are also photos of hot springs pools on the website. Those photos are for the Hot Springs Park up the road- payment separate. When I went to the front desk to ask to switch to a different cabin for the dinner he stayed that all the other Cabins were booked. But we were the first to check in and could easily have switched to a different one before the other patrons arrived. It was first come first serve, but this guy was just rude and miserable. He then tried to upgrade us to a deluxe cabin for an extra $200 when I just wanted what was originally promised to us. They also kept pushing their Smokehouse restaurant. We went there for brunch and got drinks spilled all over us by the waitress. My $14 Bloody Mary tasted like steak sauce on ice. Spend your money elsewhere.

Beautiful spot! We stayed at the beginning of May just before the busy season. We were able to text & call with any questions or concerns. The owner responded directly. Very kind, very helpful. We highly recommend! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

We worked remotely for a week from the RV park, and it was lovely. The location is perfect, the park is peaceful and quiet. The owners are super friendly too. We made frequent use of the river walk right behind our site. We were also lucky enough to enjoy a brunch and a dinner at the smokehouse - food was delicious and the service excellent. This is a great place to park your home for a week - or longer! We will be back.

Definitely a 5 star experience. We were in cabin 8 for 3 days in April. It was clean and smelled pleasantly of wood oil. We particularly enjoyed the front porch with the bench swing and rod iron patio chairs and table. The cabin location was peaceful and just a few steps from the uncompahgre river and river walk, a two mile path that runs on each side of the river. The towels were high quality. The bath house was clean, new and constructed with higher quality materials like stone tiles in the shower and manufactured marble sink countertops. We ate at the smokehouse for breakfast each morning. The staff was attentive, pleasant and fast and breakfast was excellent. We did after hours check in and received clear instructions on parking, where to enter, door codes, WiFi password all through text. We also checked out and communicated cleaning needs via text. In all it a very well run establishment I highly recommend and plan on returning.

This was the best place to stay for a relaxing, mountain vacation! We stayed in a queen-bed Inn room which was perfect for this time of year. The cabins were enticing, but the smaller ones don't have bathrooms which could lead to a chilly walk for the communal bathrooms; having a bathroom en-suite was super nice for a Spring snow! The only downside to the room was that the bed felt more like a full than a queen size, but otherwise, the Inn was perfect. The location within Ouray is superb. It's walking distance to the town, but also easy to access the road that turns into the main street. The riverwalk is just steps away from the Inn and is a perfect way to get to their amazing Smokehouse or to just take in the mountain air with an easy walk. ORR is really good with their communication and I never felt like I had any questions, though I know if I did they would be promptly addressed and answered. Ouray Riverside Resort felt so homey when far from home and added to the overall enjoyment of our time in Ouray.
