Everyone should get together and have this place investigated! It's not right!!!!I had a storage here and all my items were damaged to mold and mildew. I filed an insurance claim and was denied. Now what has me mad is I lost over $4000 worth of items. And not nothing will be replaced. I just want to make it aware to anyone else that this place isnt worth the trouble. You basically are taking from people. Knowing your building is full of mold

Do not rent here!!!!!... I thought outbox self storage was a nice, safe place to leave my things.. I noticed white dust on my belongings.. I thought it might have came from the wall or something.. i go back today to grab my children's school uniforms.. and oh my goodness... there is mold all over my belongings.. I could cry.. I work hard for what I have... and now I have to throw everything away!!!.. the office is always closed now.. I don't understand what's going on here.. but I need answers!!.. I will update as soon as I speak with someone who work for this company... I wish I read the reviews first!.. update: outbox told me that there was nothing they can do about my belongings.. the insurance company sent an email listing everything that they do not cover... meaning you pay insurance for nothing!!!! I would stay away from this storage facility!

The Outbox Self Storage facility in Charlotte on Silabert Ave is one of the best! What they lack in comparison with all the glamour of the newer storage facilities, they make up for with excellent service. They worked with my situation and made me feel like family. I highly recommend this storage facility.

I’m so happy to have found Outbox! I was tired of the Public Storage “business model” of having dirty facilities and a gate that never worked. Outbox has incredibly clean units, great security and it’s sitting in a quiet, convenient neighborhood. It only me takes a few minutes from Plaza Midwood and I don’t mind the short drive to support a locally owned business.
