Beautiful campground on the Buffalo River. Primitive camping. Mostly tents, with a few RVs. Pop ups, camper Vans. No hook ups. They do have flush toilets during the non winter season and a vault toilet for winter.

We left from here to hike the BRT. The spots are great for tent camping. Includes a picnic table and lantern pole. Grass. Flush toilets. Drinking water. There are RV spots but I don't think they have hookups. Camp host was helpful and we saw a ranger present the first time we can't through. Self pay in an envelope so cash or check. This campground had cell service for me (T-Mobile). I think there is also an emergency phone if you don't have service. I didn't look at the river access here, so I can't comment on that. There is also a Pavillon.

Nice Campground along the Buffalo River. There is running water at the Sites. There is bathrooms with sinks and toliets. The camp host and park ranger were nice. Typically it is quiet here.

Road tripping through the Ozarks from Oregon. This was a quick and easy campground to stop at for the night. The bathrooms were well-kept. The camp host was available if needed. My only note is that there is a shooting range close by that went pretty late into the evening.

This campground is great. It is well maintained, and in a beautiful location on the river. I think in the busiest season, I would prefer somewhere else simply because the campsites are rather close together. However, it wasn't busy at all when we went. That could have had something to do with the fact that they had a lightening strike that damaged their water system, so there was no running water at the time we went. But a ranger even came by to make sure we knew about the lack of water even though they had signs everywhere. She was super nice about it all, and the camping fee was waived! The lack of water was not a problem though. We brought water with us, and Jasper/Harrison are not far away, so we could have easily picked up bottled water in a nearby store. Also the vault toilet was one of the nicest/cleanest I have seen. The beaches on the river at this site are lovely and we enjoyed cooling off in the water after setting up camp. The view of the cliffs at this spot is another great bonus. There is no playground, which would have been a nice, but I certainly can't complain about that because everything else was so great. We also enjoyed watching wildlife (small mammals, birds, and fish.) If you are looking for a campsite on the Buffalo River in this area, Ozark is definitely worth checking out.

Stayed here three nights. Drove our 32ft class A, with car on tow dolly and no problems. The road is dirt but well maintained, it has a steep grade which was no problem getting out. The campground is kept after very nicely and was a pleasure to stay here. Nice hiking trails and access to the river for swimming or fishing. Very family friendly. Arkansas is beautiful.

There are limited first come primitive camp sites with community water faucets and flushable toilets. There is 1 pavilion. There is a scenic bluff that is a priceless view. We wished we would have stayed more than just overnight. Caution: There's is posion ivy. The camp sites are kept mowed.
