Our family stayed here for a long weekend in our 28-ft RV in August, and we probably will not stay at this location again. Pros: beach access via a walking path (crosses Hwy 101), close to Pacific City, beautiful tall trees, and huckleberries. Our site itself was great, with full hookups and an ocean view, but this campground is a labyrinth - that’s really the best word to describe it. We were tucked way back in section F. The sites are packed close together, the roads are very steep and narrow, and we may not have even been able to get out of there at checkout if it weren’t for an open campsite that allowed us to turn around better, because I don’t think our truck & trailer could have made the turn at the end of our road otherwise. The clubhouse / pool / hot tub was completely inaccessible on foot - it took about 10 minutes of steep winding roads to drive there - and even to walk to the beach with our kids, we had to drive to my parents’ campsite in section B and walk from there. When I mentioned we would like to be closer to my parents, no accommodation was made, and we were across the campground from them. I guess I could have insisted. The other issue was that the laundry service was not working while we were there, because the Internet was down. Normally, this would not be a big issue, but it was raining that entire day and half our stuff was completely soaked and I was counting on being able to use a dryer. There was no communication about the laundry not working either - when we checked it, there was not even a sign on the door, we had to track someone down and ask them why the laundry door was locked, and it didn’t get fixed during our whole stay. I could see how this campground would be nice if you were close to the beach trail and somewhat closer to the clubhouse amenities, but it’s just such a huge campground that many of the sites have very limited accessibility.

We stayed there for a night because we saw hot shower on the ad. Paid $77 even with the discount and there’s only 1 shower room in each section. No dumping station. No garbage can! We have to haul our trash with us when checked out. For this price we’d hoped for at least a dumping station. Too many people. Very crowded. Will not stay again.

Overall the experience was good. The facilities however were dirty, not clean and toilets only worked half the time. The pool was disgusting dead bugs, and hair and other things, and the deck was slimy. The miniature golf was our favorite part. The roads need to be repaired, lots of potholes. Camp sites really close together. Our yurt was not cleaned properly, we found dirty undergarments. If you plan to camp with an RV you will be fine. Also no cell service and wifi didn't work. So bring your starlink if you need wifi access.

We love this spot. Pacific City is more of a laid-back beach town. It has beautiful views. The campground is great. The spots are a little difficult to park due to angles, but there is tons of privacy, and you feel like you are in the woods. They have a huge indoor pool and nice lodge. The only thing that can be annoying is that there aren't a lot of full hookups. So just make sure you make reservations early or bring your portable dump tank. They do have multiple dump stations on site.

Though the lay put is weirdly set up, it's still really nice drive through to get to the futher spots. The people in the front desk cabin were funny, sweet and patient and helped my mom situate us in our own lot last second. It's quiet, calm, but not to their fault, a family bringing their very loud dogs and barking their heads off, but luckily not at night. I do wish they had easier access to bathrooms in certain areas but driving your car to them is no issue. I love this place and I'd definitely would stay here again! (No vote on rooms since I stayed in a lot instead of one of the buildings. Was clean, comfortable and spacious for a tent though bigger rvs may have way less space in certain lots)

In 2008 we stayed 21 days at this park on our way to Alaska. The park looked really good and maintained. This was before the patent company got greedy and opened all Thousand Trails up to the public and began leasing annual sites. Problem is even though they have taken in more dollars they have failed to maintain a large majority of them. Bend-Sunriver is a good example. The annual sites here in Pacific City Thousand Trails are over grown and look terrible. If the lessee fails to maintain then the park should. Why am I complaining now, well I'll tell you. We're here during Memorial Day Weekend. I chose a full hookup site about 120 days prior to our stay however we were bumped to a standard site, no sewer (looks like a large number of full hookup sites are occupied by the annual people). Then there's the over growth and ground debris which helps fires. There was also the low water pressure issue. I realize there's probably a shortage of staff but hey, how much money is Equity Life Styles racking in and keeping instead of investing in their properties. In closing, I'm disappointed in the parks we've stated in so far in Oregon but hoping Seaside will be much better.

Love this place. Quiet, pool, beach. What more do you want?

Don't waste your membership here. This place is beyond run down. All their roads are extremely narrow with potholes which partly flood during heavy rain. Not to mention you'll definitely be scraping the underside of your rig on some hills. All RV sites are unlevel and without gravel so everytime it rains they become severely muddy. Like you have to constantly re-level your rig muddy. You'll be lucky to find an electric box that isn't rusted to hell clogged up with dead spiders. The water at the sites smells heavily of chlorine and is almost yellow in color. They don't notify people of any construction or amenity shut downs before your visit. It's a first come first serve even if you have an annual membership with them so good luck if all the full hook up spots are taken. There's absolutely no wifi other than at the family center. They hardly ever clean the bathrooms and it takes forever for the water in the showers to get hot. Your annual membership gets you nothing but 2 weeks free stay. Other than the pool and beach access this location has little to offer in service or amenities. Would recommend staying at probably any other thousand trails location or one of other RV parks in town.

The sites are decent but facilities are atrocious. Really whoever is cleaning the bathrooms needs to be retrained. Gobs of hair everywhere. It rains inside the lodge and it's filthy in there. Every window had a hundred dead flies it was so neglected. Everything about this place seemed neglected. It used to be nice and have a little store and library and pretty landscaping but not so anymore. The location is fun and we made the best of it with the lovely view.
