This place is incredible!! We stayed here the week leading up to Thanksgiving. The only bummer was everything was closed, store and restaurant wise. However, we still make the best of it and the rest was awesome. We could have never left the resort and stayed happy!

I've berm here a week. It's lovely. You have access to the state park trail and it's huge. It has several pools, dog parks. Even a place to wash the dog. I love it here !!

Sun Outdoors Orange Beach is part of a chain of master planned resorts with premium amenities for short term or extended, stays for families and snowbirds. The on-site restaurant had a nice selection and the food was well prepared. Two family pools, one adult pool and a splash pad for the children. The team here is friendly, courteous, cheerful, and willing to help. Unique to campgrounds, sun outdoor outdoors orange Beach offers a dog wash station. Some sites have a dog pen for you to keep your furry friend in check. The bath houses have individual stalls for your privacy and protection. Clean and new fixtures. 50 and 30 amp service is clean and consistent. The water pressure is appropriate. The lake is loaded with fish. The one thing you may experience here would be that there does not seem to be a sense of community. Whenever you have a large resort like this, there is a lot of concrete. Campers check in and out constantly. The sites next to us changed campers 2x in the 6 days we were there. While there are plenty of family friendly amenities, there is less of a family atmosphere feeling here. It feels more corporate run as an upscale RV resort. And with that comes a lot of rules. Most of the rules there are to keep the campground, clean, orderly, and free of one star campers. I agree with all of them! Take your own trash to the dumpster!! The one rule that I find comical is the 5 1/2 mph speed limit. In my six days there I saw not one driver obey the limit. You’ll get some ugly looks from the folks behind you when you drive 5 1/2 mph. So be it. I’m a rule follower. We like this location better than the Sun Outdoors in Islamorada as the sites here are not on top of each other like they are in the keys. We love the place and will be back again and again. Highly recommended

Great location next to the state park and couple miles from the beaches. Staff was friendly and polite but maintenance staff seemed understaffed and pools could be maintained/cleaned better. Also was disappointed they didn't have pool chillers. We stayed for a month in July and pool water was warm and not refreshing.

Such a nice park. The sites are spacious with concrete pads and lots of lush grass. Picnic table and two Adirondack chairs for each site made of composite, no weathering or splinters! Fire pit with propane tanks supplied. Large pool for lap swimming as well as a kids play area in the pool. Staff was very friendly. Beautiful resort, we will return!!

Huge park and very nice! Lots have a fire pit and lots of room, is one of our favorite spots to stop on our way to Florida! Great for all sizes of 5th Wheel or coaches and probably one of the nicest Sun Outdoors facilities. Has an on site restaurant and bar with an awesome pool!!

We have tried a few RV parks on the Gulf coast and finally came to Sun Outdoors, Orange Beach, AL. We have found our place. I could write 1000 words on how nice this place is, but you just have to see it...and believe me that this is the biggest bang for your buck. I wish this place was here when our children were young. 5 stars isn't enough to rate this place. Great job Sun Outdoors, Orange Beach. Fantastic.

We planned to stay a week and ended up staying 15 days. The park exceeded our expectations, so we booked for November. We Love access to all the local restaurants, shopping, and proximity to Pensacola Beach. We can't wait to get back.

For a couple getting back into camping, this place is amazing! Some of the cleanest facilities and sites I have seen. Love all the kid friendly activities and areas in the park! Very easily navigable even with a tow vehicle. Make sure to bring your bikes, you have multiple access points to the extensive bike trail system right from the park.

Amazing is how we describe this RV Resort! Spacious sites with propane fire pits at the sites and around the facility. 2 beautiful pools, a spa, clubhouses and bar and restaurant. So many activities for both kids and adults. So much to do in the area and the beach is only a couple of miles away. You cannot go wrong here!
