Beautiful very safe and family friendly location. Right off the beach. The trains never stop- that’s why I say 4 stars. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the laundry was as well. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Spots are tight and on top of each other which does promote a community feel. But the train noise is on top of you if you’re a light sleeper!

Just a cautionary tale when booking: pay the up charge to “lock” your site especially if you are camping with other people. The site lets you chose a site but that means nothing, the true cost per night is the cost of the site PLUS the up charge to lock the site. Otherwise, you get randomly assigned a site on the day of your arrival…Surprise. There is nothing you can do. They were kind enough to send me a photo of the parking lot view from Site 03, staff parking (lmao). The pads are pretty small as well so pay to pick your site and get a site in the 60’s, 70’s or 90’s. The pads are a bit larger.

Our first time camping in Paradise. Friendly staff from check-in to the gentleman who came out to light the fireplace. All around a very nice campground in a great location. Carlsbad Village was only 1.5 miles down the road. Easy beach access as well.

Enjoyed our two weeks here! The park is well maintained and close to the beach front. Good spot to walk north to the pier and south around the neighborhoods overlooking the ocean. Good coffee shops close by! Sites are very small and a bit cramped but pretty much to be expected in a popular urban location.

Amazing staff, well kept grounds and facilities. There is a lot of pride in this park and it shows. A few rules to follow but nothing major common sense will get you through and it’s about everyone having a good time. It’s pricey but that’s the location. We spent the winter here and it’s a place that will travel with me.

This place is very well maintained, beautiful and close to the beach. We definitely want to go back! We're from Wyoming but love the ocean!

We just departed after our 8th stay. Paradise by the Beach is a small but well run park that is clean with nice amenities. The staff are outstanding and I am very impressed with the after hours staff and their constant patrols. The prices are a little steep and sometimes it’s hard to get in but if you want a great getaway in a nice park this is the place! Bring your bicycles!

This is a lovely RV resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept immaculate. It was windy while during our stay and the leaves were swept at all times. No trash anywhere, the sand was swept off the streets. A lovely communal patio area with propane heaters both standing and table top. A short walk to the beach. A clean pool and hot tub. The only downside is the sites are small (narrow) for our 40’ coach with 4 slideouts. But all things considered I would come back here again and again.
