I booked a spot for the night & right afterward called back to cancel the reservation as I did not realize it was actually quite a ways from our charted route. Totally my fault. I spoke with Donna at the park who went over & above to get it cancelled with just a small cancellation charge. It is not their policy to refund anything on a cancellation but because I had called back immediately, she took it upon herself to keep going through the steps until corporate agreed. Thanks again, Donna for all your help!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this KOA campground! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great experience. The campground itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything you could possibly need right on site. The amenities were top-notch — clean bathrooms and showers, a well-stocked camp store, fun activities for the kids, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. The activities offered and playground were family favorites, and the quiet evening atmosphere made it easy to unwind after a day of adventure. Their tent sites were a great size and had water spickets, electric access, fire pits, grills, tables and picnic tables. Not to mention their decks and chairs for campers and cabins. It’s clear that the team here takes great pride in what they do. This KOA stands out for its combination of comfort, community, and exceptional service. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommend!

The best place ever to stay is waiting for you at this KOA. We rented a deluxe cabin & it was adorable! It had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The pool, store & the activities were amazing!!! I cant think of anything else they could have done to make our stay more pleasant.

Our first time camping here in our RV and it was a fabulous stay. The campground is well maintained, has all the camping essentials, and a lot of kid friendly activities. The bathrooms and laundry are clean. Really cute store and friendly owners and staff! We will definitely stay here again.

We have been staying here the past few days. We have enjoyed the campsite. We had site E4 which is semi private near the woods. The site had a built in deck with nice patio chairs/ table and a built in fire pit that was very nice. Our son enjoyed the nice playground which was located in the middle of the park and only a few steps away from our site. They even offer a little worm train with all the other kids in the park. Nice staff nice campground highly recommended!

“Great for family weekend. Not great for an overnight.” We stopped here on our way home on Night 12 of a 13 night trip to Florida. The campground is more suited for families looking for a fun weekend. Plenty of amenities for the kids and family: Playground, Gaga Pit, Horse Shoes, Gem Mining, Minigolf, camp fires, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful when on site. Internet is awesome The Cons: the old portion of the campground (Pull through sites without patio) is very unlevel and tight. Sewer connection had to go uphill, even with supports. Rules say quiet hours are 10p-8a. While it was a Saturday and I understand people want to have a good time, there were a few groups chatting and laughing around the campfire after 10p. We ran the AC Fan to drown out the noise so we could sleep after a long day on the road. Another rule is no ATV riding on the grounds: at about 9 PM there was a ATV riding around the grounds for about 10 minutes. For the price ($60 without any discount) there are plenty of RV parks out there that are cheaper and would provide a better experience for someone traveling through. While it was long enough, I would think the site we stayed on as a value of $30-40, not $60. We were not able to extend our awning due to a tree. The campground would benefit from someone onsite until 11 pm enforcing rules as written in the publications, especially on the weekends. The campground would also benefit from upgrading/expanding the older portion of the campground to level out the sites. (I understand that is the goal while reading past reviews) Overall, it was on OK stay. As stated, I paid cheaper on our trip and we had much better sites (Full concrete, level, quiet) than we experienced here. We camped at Paris Landing / Kentucky Lake KOA Holiday in a Fifth Wheel.

Our first rv camping experience, the campsite is clean and surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area, lots to do and see. Great pet area…all hook ups available…returning without a doubt. Nov 2021

We loved our 8 day stay. New owners have improved the grounds and are adding more sites. So many kid friendly activities like mini golf, pool, large connect four, rental pedal bikes. Staff is very friendly and attentive to any problems. Brandy was friendly even when we saw her off the clock. Dog friendly. Great fenced dog park. I’d go back in a heart beat. Only cons- sites are very close unless you get a deck site. We did and loved the set up. We also heard the traffic noise at night since the campground is close to the highway. Overall well worth a trip and stay.
