This is a great place to stop over in your RV when coming through Statesboro. It’s clean and easy to access. No other major attractions but a good one-night stopping point. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here in the past, but it has been more than 4 years since we have. We were very happy with our site and the customer service that we were provided. Our site was a beautifully thick grassy area. It was a pull-thru, which made our arrival and departure a breeze! It was a very hot day and some shade would have been nice, but there are not many trees. I am a walker and I walked early in the morning and I felt very safe and comfortable walking there. We will stay again, when we pass by the area!

My stay here was beyond wonderful. I was originally only to be here for a little over 4 months working a seasonal business. During that time (living alone with my dog in my RV) I experienced a medical issue and had to be treated with radiation therapy on my brain for 5 days a week for six weeks. That extended my stay and I had no problem doing so. The park was quite and exactly what I needed for recovery. The people that work there were everything I didn't know I needed. They let me pick flowers to put in my RV to brighten my day. I would recommend them to everyone that asks. I was blessed to be in the place I was during this trying time. Thank you!!

Told them it would be my last week immediately after paying for a month. I didn’t know id be leaving yet when I paid the month. Manger would not refund the 3 weeks and said “sorry, you should have told us earlier” Be more understanding! That’s not how a small business should treat people!

The park seems to be a nice area, however the communication is terrible and not truthful. I am in Georgia doing disaster relief from hurricane helene. I called Parkwood even to get a monthly site, I was informed I had to fill out an application before we could do monthly rentals. I was convinced to book for 1 week while the application process is going through. Hey no problem I will do that even though 1 week is $300 I did it anyway because I was informed it would take no more than a few days. I call this morning to confirm they have received everything they needed on my end and was informed they had no monthly sites available and it would take at least another week before they could look at my application. Keep in mind this is for a camper not housing on site. So they have completely wasted my time & money coming here when I could have gone 12 miles down the road to beaver run rv park and bought one monthly. I highly don’t recommend due to terrible communication it almost feels as if they just where trying to get more money out of me.

This RV Park was fine. We rented a space there for 15 months. Clean restrooms, laundry room always worked fine. The occasional hiccup with Wi-Fi, but that’s pretty much the norm with any Wi-Fi system and management was always helpful with new codes. Communication was good regarding rent and power due dates. They have propane fill up onsite, although be prepared to pay a flat fee regardless of amount to top off. Again, for the convenience, not a huge deal. Park is well lit and full coverage camera surveillance made me feel comfortable with my wife staying here solo many time for her job. We would definitely look for space again if needed.

With plans to move our daughter into Georgia Southern University, we scheduled a few night stay. When sudden announcement of Hurricane Debby (2024) was coming through at the same time, we called to cancel as its unsafe to travel with an RV. Parkwood responded that we are past the 48 hour window, which is understandable for normal circumstances, but a hurricane...come on. We ate the cost and stayed in a hotel for safety reasons. We will communicate to friends the unfair service, and redirecting future stays to Beaver Run RV Park instead.

This was a perfect spot to camp while we were in town visiting family. Our site was very roomy and easily accommodated our 37 foot fifth wheel and F250. The internet was very fast and the campground was clean and quiet. While not fancy, it certainly gave us a nice place to rest which is all we were looking for. Easy access off of major road with plenty around. Would recommend and stay again.

Don't know why the price gouge when a event is taking place. The property is clean and we'll maintained. Propane is priced fairly. Nice helpful people. Road noise can make it not feel like camping.

Parkwood RV Park is a big rig-friendly RV park. We stayed in a 45' 5th wheel for a few days and had no issues navigating throughout the park. The roads leading in are also easily navigated. The sites are relatively level and include a picnic table that can be moved while setting up. All sites are very long and spacious from side to side. Most sites are pull-through. However, there are a few back-in sites towards the rear of the park. The pool looked nice, and the bathrooms and laundry facilities were decent. The campground has very little road noise and is reasonably quiet, as the park does enforce quiet times. They are close to downtown Statesboro, which was small but enjoyable. The camp hosts are all amazing, and everyone at the park was very friendly. AT&T has good cell service. We used an amplified antenna, and the following speeds were observed. AT&T 60 Mbps down, 30 Mbps up. Sprint / T-Mobile was 50 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. Verizon was 50 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. If this review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up. Thanks
