The new sites are very nice. The only problem we had was some ants, but in speaking with an employee a maintenance person was sent right away and sprinkled poison on them. Next time I plan to get a site on the water.

Well, i expected a lot better after they closed for renovations but its still a bit disappointing. Yes, they said some slabs and made rv campsites, but overall the park has an abandoned/neglected feel. Even with all this new renovation, some sites were roped off with water leaks, tge bathrooms weren't getting cleaned. I was here a week and never saw anyone clean. Staff was nice though. Campsites dont feel private. You're kinda on top of each other.

I would said a 5 star but they are revamping the park and there is lot of construction and the only sites are all jam together. The view is amazing and lots of walking areas. Next year it will be a 5 star Park for sure. We still had a great time.

We did not realize this was more of an RV park than a campground. The place was booked solid and there’s only a few primitive sites tucked away in the back. There’s lots of noise and light pollution. And there are only two bath houses for the 120+ sites on the premises. That should have been a clue that they are not set up for non-RVs. If you are in an RV and want that neighborhood feeling, this is the place for you. If you do not have your own bathroom and shower in your vehicle, this is not the place for you.

Amazing campground! Convenient to many amenities. Not far from downtown Hattiesburg. Full hookup easy to get into sites. Beautiful lake views from almost every window. Cellphone/hotspot signal was great. Fairly level paved sites. Running water at sites for winter months. Sites long enough to not need to unhook. Only a couple hours away from Jackson, MS. Less than 2 hours to New Orleans. Close to National Park trails. Clean and well maintained. Very peaceful and quiet location. We would stay again. Happy with our choice. ❤️

The site size was adequate and full hookups a plus. Friendly office staff, rangers and fellow campers. Paul B. Johnson nice spots on lake. Sure do not have to be on the water side to enjoy the water view from your site.. Beautiful view one of the best.. Nice picnic areas, splash pad for kids, and boat launches. The little turtles were sure in abundance and enjoy the place. DIffently needs some TLC...Water outlets needed to be replaced knobs missing, fire rings need installed the pits on just on ground, electric boxes need repair, sagging boxes. We did enjoy our say and would diffently return.

We stayed in the rv park for five days in a fifth wheel. The park is beautiful, access is easy, hookups were handy and the rates are outstanding. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay again.

The grounds are pretty with lots of pine trees and large lakes. The bathrooms/showers could use a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, there was no cold water while taking a shower, only hot would come out. Nice pad sites for RV parking, all have grills and picnic tables. Hiking trails are available too.
