Peralta Regional Park
Designed with backcountry campers in mind, Peralta Regional Park offers rustic campsites for tent and car camping only. Our tent camping sites have a parking space that can accommodate one vehicle up to 20 feet in length. The Backpacking Sites are a secluded camping experience with convenient access to the trail system and other park amenities a short hike away. The park is located in the Superstition mountains and offers an equestrian Staging Area, 9+ miles of multi-use hiking trails with varying difficulty, a stargazing node for setting up a telescope, remote campsites, and more. Beautiful at night and the sunsets are spectacular! I was there 2 weeks and 90% of the time I had the campground all to myself!!

Well cared for Regional park on the edge of the valley, easily accessible, clean facilities and spacious campsites. Great for access to local hiking trails while being on the outskirts of town away from city life. Close access to groceries if needed and a couple of lakes and the Salt River.
