I was a tenant at this location for just shy of 3 years, during which time my rent went up over ~25% at the beginning of each year. You cannot tell me that is keeping up with inflation. For this increase no additional services were added. Actually that's inaccurate, now the on property restroom is no longer available to tenants without getting berated by the staff so that's a fun new service. Then after informing them I intened to move out the unit, I was offered all kinds of "discounts" that showed me this company doesn't care about your continued patronage until you're so fed up you're leaving. Oh and eversince my email box has been inundated with unwanted spam from the company, so get ready to add all the unwanted correspondence to your junk folder.

I’ve waited for someone to reach out now and it’s obvious they do not care to resolve. We are a military family and decided to use prime storage being it was right by base. We got a 10x10 storage unit and were paying $148. My husband ended up getting sent on a mission and my kids and I temporarily relocated out of state and we never received notices they said that they sent out about hiking our storage unit price $80!! It was set up on autopay and my husband just didn’t pay any attention to it until we were closing out our unit 2 weeks ago. I called and spoke to Eric (?) I believe and he let me know he would escalate it. I mentioned online prices and he said “I WILL DEFINITELY ESCALATE IT BECAUSE THE PRICE YOURE PAYING IS PRETTY HIGH BUT OUR ONLINE RATES ARE REALLY JUST TO DRAW IN CUSTOMERS.” Shady. He admitted that they definitely just bait customers. When I called to follow up the following week since no one called I spoke with Leah who said “IM SORRY REGARDING THE PRICE THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO BECAUSE YOU CONTINUED TO PAY AND DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE INCREASE AT THE TIME IT FIRST HAPPENED” even after explaining that we were military and didn’t receive notices. She let me know it was our responsibility to have it sorted out. We also had rat problems and rat droppings in our unit the gentleman I initially spoke with said to just take pics etc. My husband closed out the unit and left since we were told we’ll just have to submit pictures and Leah didn’t ask to inspect the unit or if we had any issues he didn’t think about bringing it up to her. She told me HE WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY SOMETHING AT CLOSING SO SHE COULD GO LOOK but since we had already closed she was sure we could still file a claim but she can’t say she saw anything for certain. RIDICULOUS. RAISE PRICES AND CANT EVEN DO THEIR JOB AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. Instead CONSISTENTLY tell me it’s my responsibility, or I should have done this or that. $223 for rat droppings and urine and poor customer service no thank you. MILITARY STEER CLEAR BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE. I will be posting to the military family page too. Unfortunate since they are conveniently located by base.

I have had storage there when it was Clinton Mini Storage for approx. 8 plus years. The Customer Service was Outstanding… now not so much. There have been 2 increases in less than a year with no real explanation nor Improvement in Service. I closed my 2units Dec. 16/31/ 2022 because I relocated.

Cheers to New Management! 🍻👔💁🏿‍♀️This place used to suck as “Clinton Mini Storage”, and suffered from inefficient management, high turnover in staff, as “Prime Storage” until recently. My family’s used the spot for years for what it’s worth regardless. It’s a really simple set up for what you pay for. The inside units are especially appealing and the security presence is there and visibly reinforced with the lock gate and cameras EVERYWHERE. With all that said, the most appealing feature of their most recent restructuring is actually, hands down, their newer in office staff and new management. For example, being completely transparent, I’ve had months where I’m late (2 months even!) and notably the GM Leah helped tour guide these situations, kept in constant communication with me about my unit and account, given me constant reminders and updates about the storage facility itself, and with the help of the good folks on her staff have overall helped navigate this new experience for me. Again, being transparent, I could’ve probably kept on as a patron regardless, but as a manager at my own place of work, I can appreciate and speak on the level of customer service, I guess I never knew I was missing. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Kudos guys. 🙏🏿

I'll start with what I like: The area is easy to get to and close to the military installation, and that's about all I have for that. I have been at the storage area for about 3 years - well before Prime Storage took over. With the previous owner, they gave me a military discount (Retired) as well as a good price on the 10x15 unit. Since Prime took over, I have had 3 rate increases in a year......for a total of about $80 per month (15% this last time) and they don't offer a military discount to retirees. Also, I had set up auto pay through them and for about 6 months I kept getting calls saying payment was late. Not my issue as I gave them my routing info. Come to find out, they weren't running it correctly from the office. I do like the fact that they put in poles on the outside and inside so you can drive up to the access pad and don't have to get out. But, for the past few weeks, that has been broken because someone hit the post on the inside so the gate has been wide open for weeks. Who knows when they will get fixed. So would I recommend - I'd say that there are a lot of storage areas around so do your due diligence before choosing. I would have easily said yes with the previous owner.
