We had an absolute blast. The area was gorgeous and well maintained. We felt safe and secure the entire weekend .

This is a really clean and family friendly campground. Full hook ups are available along with your traditional ones. Some of the sites are alittle tight to get into with larger vehicles but just choose one for your size. Numerous bath houses for each area. Some could use some paint on the inside, but kept clean. Large lake with area to swim and plenty of places to launch boats. Most sites are shaded, which on hot day helped with keeping camper cool. Park rangers were around alot, which made it feel comfortable and secure. Plenty to do in Altoona and surrounding area. Dropped 1 star for bath house updating....

The campgrounds and cabins are off Beaver Valley Road. It's a 398-site tent and trailer campground, some with electric hookups, opens the second Friday in April and closes the last Monday in October. Facilities and services offered in the campground include: camp store (picture 2) with coin-operated laundry, swimming beach, boat mooring area, boat rental, playgrounds, paved sites, showers, flush toilets, and sanitary dump stations. Meanwhile, there are three cottages and two deluxe cottages (picture 1) in the campground area with decks that overlook the lake. Each cottage sleeps five people in bunk beds and has lights, outlets, and electric heat. The deluxe cottages also have a small kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator, range, and microwave oven. The cottages are available from the second Friday in April to the last Monday in October. Cottages A and E are ADA accessible.

Been camping here since I was born its the nicest campground in Pennsylvania far as im concerned! Beautiful park, beautiful lake. The fishing is so so it used to be better when I was a kid. Walleye and crappie. However they stopped stocking Walleye and started stocking northern pike instead which Is a big bummer. I highly recommend this park! Nice bathrooms for the most part. Hot showers some sites are more private than others. I camp here every year in the same spot my parents and grandparents took me every summer!

Had a wonderful time camping here. Though it was full with many campers, we still found it to be quiet and relaxing. The beach area is really nice and the camp store had everything you could possibly need including really good ice-cream! The kids had fun fishing and I saw lots of kayaks being used as well. Shower house was nothing special but the water was warm and water pressure was good. There was also a down washing station at the shower house which was nice. I definitely recommend this place!

Since the beginning of 2021 I wanted to take my two sons on their first camping trip and I wanted to take them to Prince gallitzin where are used to go whenever I was a little boy. We decided that we are going to stay in a tent so daddy saved up and started buying all the necessary equipment throughout the early spring months and summer months got my vehicle the specs, and then we headed off for our fall camping trip and we had a lot of fun and my boys told me they want to go back every year!! That was the best thing a dad could hear after a weekend that your sons want to go back with you again every year that’s exactly how I grew up spending time outside with nature not sitting inside staring at a blue screen drooling on yourself trying to make a perfect online life. For those of you that find that important you’re pathetic

Always wonderful memories to be made here! Beautiful trails and great fishing! Bathrooms are always clean. We can't wait to go back next summer!

Great campground. Showers and bathrooms close by. Fair prices. Sites are good sized. Security makes rounds to keep noise in check which was awesome. Swimming, boating, hiking. Entertainment. And only a short drive to Delgrossos Amusement Park. We will definitely be staying here again.

I started camping here as very young child, I crew up here during the summer months. Very nice campground and they are improving the different loop with electricity and other hook ups. Very nice camp ground. They only have 1 pet loop so if you are bringing pets this loop fills up quickly highly recommend to reserve online. There is a small bike park at the one end of the campground and trail that goes all the way around the campground. The camp store is only open on the weekends as of right now early May. Not sure what the hours will be in the summer.
