I visited Public Storage in Towson for the first time this week. The manager, Andrea, was on time for my appointment, and could not possibly have been any more welcoming, kind, and friendly while thoroughly explaining the entire process to me and giving a tour of the facility. She made the entire process extremely easy, and before I knew it, I was all set to start filling up my first storage unit. The entire facility was clean, well-lit, and overall looked much nicer than many other facilities I have seen in the past. Big thanks to Andrea for making it all possible!

Stacey, the new Manager at this location (Gleneagles Ct next to the Post Office) , is clearly the best this area has! I had a few issues and gripes which she took the time to actually listen to, engaged me in a plan of resolution of the matters I had, and successfully resolved all of them. She should be Regional Manager. At least give her a raise as I am sure she probably isn't paid anywhere near what she is worth. Sincerely, Harold Stephen Goodwin 02/11/2023

We've had a unit here for about 5 years, which we got when it was still an EZ Storage. Over time there have been changes, both good and bad. We've never had any issues with our actual unit. (we have a medium/largeish size one) The price for our unit has gone up quite a lot over the past couple of years (it's about $30 more per month), and the transition from EZ Storage to Public Storage came with a number of billing issues which stemmed from a lack of communication to customers in any form other than a piece of paper that got lost in the mail. The elevators were a constant source of problems for quite some time. Some days they simply wouldn't go to your floor, others the display on the keypad was completely illegible. They finally "upgraded" the security system on the elevators recently as well as at the front door access. Unfortunately, this change has resulted in a very insecure way to access the building. Basically, you only have to input a very short code that is going to be a code that more than one person in the building is using. My mom also rents a unit here and if I input her code, it welcomes another person on the display, because they have the exact same access code. They really need to make this more secure, especially considering that there is no gated entry to the facility itself. Basically, right now it is reeeeally easy for just anyone to walk in and go to any floor they want, and that's.... really bad. There's a couple of other issues. A big one is carts. If there is a single U-Haul in the parking lot, they will take 2-3 carts minimum. Which would be fine, but there only seems to be like, 5 carts available at best, so if there's a UHaul and 1 or 2 other cars there, forget about getting a cart. In my experience, the UHaulers never offer to sacrifice one of their carts so that someone else can have one for a few minutes. So if you have a lot of stuff to move up to floors 2-4, you're kinda boned. The one other issue I've had is that part of the 2nd floor always stinks of cigarette smoke, so either one of the employees is a smoker, and/or there's a unit full of stuff that was owned by a smoker on that floor. It's really unpleasant. Aside from all that, I don't worry much about my stuff, as the temperature is usually quite cool and you can tell that the humidity is controlled. I do think that in the Summer, it gets warmer in there than it used to get when it was EZ Storage, and it feels colder than it used to in Winter, so Public Storage may be a little more lax with their temperature requirements. Could be better, could be worse! The location is convenient, and none of our stuff has ever been damaged, so that'll have to be good enough for now.

Terrible customer service. Took advantage of two seniors who had been a customer for over 20 years, when it was EZStore Beware of their billing policies. We moved our items out of the storage unit on the 6th of October this year. We were billed for the entire month. They are taking advantage by not explaining that policy prior to our termination if the lease agreement.
