Play here often. There been doing alot of improvements to the course and it's in good shape. The greens are good just a little slow. New tee boxes. They seem to be really serious about improving the course.

I've played this course over a hundred times in my life and I have to say this course has gone so down hills over the past 10 years it flat out ridiculous to call it a golf resort, half the course has bare spots or holes, the greens are terrible and very poorly kept up , camping area is taking over the course, they actually took out the par 5 17th to replace it with a par 3 that doesn't even have an actual green. And now they decided to close at 5 on a Thursday afternoon on a sunny summer day with 3 hours of sunlight remaining, this place is a scam and my partners and me will never be going back here even though it is only 10 minutes from home

The campground is quiet and sites are spacious enough. The laundry area and bathhouses seemed very clean as well even though we didn’t use them. The small town of Hartselle is quaint and has some shops we don’t go into. Many restaurants in Decatur which is approximately 15 Minutes away. We had downpours for two days and the campground was not hardly flooded probably from the gravel throughout. The golf course is not in good shape at all from what we could see was looking forward to a round but it was raining. The host is extremely friendly and helpful with whatever you need. We would return to this spot another time.

This campground is quiet but close to the highway. Sites are nice sized to fit our 41 foot 5th wheel and truck. Laundromat and bathhouse facilities are clean and easy to use. We had one issue when a lawn mower hit our slide out. Matt, the owner, came to check it out. He took full responsibility and went above and beyond to expedite the repairs and got us back on the road with a loss of only two day. Throughout the process he and his staff kept us well informed. I would highly recommend this campground. We're not golfers, if you are, a bonus.

We stayed here for one night and a round of golf and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's very quiet and remote, but not far off the interstate. The site was gravel, but level and very easily accessible. There was plenty of room to walk our dog and a playground for kids. We didn't use the bathhouse, but it appeared clean. The golf course is a nice tract, but it needs some TLC in come areas. We noticed a lot of work taking place along the edges of the fairways and on some tee boxes. The greens, while ample and green, were fuzzy and slow. It's not a top notch course, but both my wife and I enjoyed our round and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had to check out of our RV spot to have time to play, but they allowed us to park in the golf course lot. We'll definitely be back if the road brings us this way again.

Quail Creek Golf Course is a great place to play, with well-maintained greens and a friendly, welcoming staff. The layout is enjoyable, with a nice mix of holes that keep things interesting throughout the round. However, one issue that stands out is the lack of clear signage. Finding your way from hole to hole can be confusing, and at times, it almost feels like you need a GPS just to navigate the course. Better directional signs would make a big difference in improving the overall experience.

My 16 yr old son and I played there yesterday. While it's a fun course ( great staff in the clubhouse shack), they are doing many renovations to the course and property. The greens are in pretty good conditions but there is no fringe before the putting surface. The fairways are open for the most part. Very cheap to play. I'll be back for sure but it will be nice to see later in the year if they reseed the fairways etc.

Stayed a week. WiFi was excellent at site #12. My dog loved the huge field across from the campsite to run in. Very quite park check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again when I’m back in the area.

Had a great camping experience at Quail Creek. Beautifully laid out sites with gravel roadways and gravel to park on. Sites were level and each one had a concrete patio with picnic table and fire pit. The bathhouse was very clean and spacious with individual bathrooms and showers. Laundry area was clean with easy access. Camp hosts were very friendly and responsive to needs and requests. Looking forward to returning soon.

We stay here often , we aren’t golfers ! We come to see our Grandchildren that live in Hartselle. They try really hard to find a place in the RV Sites! Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We would recommend it highly! Really nice people.
