Quail Ridge RV Park
Overview
Quail Ridge RV Park offers a quiet escape in the heart of Arizona's high desert. Located in the small community of Mayer, this park serves as a comfortable base for travelers exploring Yavapai County. The park is well-regarded for its wide-open views of the surrounding mountains and a friendly community feel that appeals to those looking for a slower pace of life.
Location & Surroundings
Positioned near the foothills of the Bradshaw Mountains, the park sits at an elevation that provides significantly cooler temperatures than the Phoenix valley. Its strategic location right off Highway 69 makes it a convenient stop for those traveling between the metropolitan area and the historic city of Prescott. The landscape is characterized by rugged desert beauty, featuring native cacti and rolling hills that create a scenic, serene backdrop for every campsite.
Amenities & Park Features
The park provides essential comforts designed for both short stays and extended seasonal visits. Guests have access to full hookups with 30 and 50-amp service to accommodate various rig sizes. On-site facilities include the following:
- Clean laundry facilities for long-term convenience.
- Private showers and well-maintained restrooms.
- A spacious clubhouse for community gatherings and social events.
The park is pet-friendly, allowing travelers to explore the Arizona outdoors with their companions, and offers Wi-Fi for those who stay connected while traveling.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to do, with numerous hiking and off-roading trails located just a short drive away in the surrounding National Forest lands. History buffs can visit the nearby town of Prescott to explore the famous Whiskey Row or take a day trip to the hillside town of Jerome. For those seeking a unique natural landscape, the iconic red rocks of Sedona are within a reasonable driving distance, making this park a centralized hub for exploring Northern Arizona.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is ideal for long-term travelers and seasonal visitors who appreciate a quiet, residential vibe rather than a high-traffic resort environment. It is also a perfect fit for off-road enthusiasts who need a reliable basecamp near the rugged trails of the Bradshaw Mountains. If you prefer stargazing and mountain breezes over city lights and crowded amenities, Quail Ridge RV Park offers the relaxed environment you are searching for during your Arizona stay.

Nice quiet quaint location close to Sedona and Prescott. Great size lots, most are pull thru's. Small clubhouse the kids enjoyed with a park and grass park area for pets. No pool or hot tub.

Clean park, nice people, decent laundry facility in the club house. All kept very clean. The grounds are very nice. We decided to extend our stay.

Happened on this RV park purely due to circumstances and it was a great park. Stopped at the Loves to fuel up and discovered broken shackles. Both truck stops were not places where I would want to stay any length of time. Called and they had space available. I let them know my situation with having to make repairs and they were more than accommodating. Camp host guided us to our site upon arrival and offered any help or tools to get our rig back to roadworthy. Great staff, clean power, decent water pressure, outstanding T-mobile signal. Would definitely like to make a planned visit to this place again. Best location for the dumpster, right by the exit on the way out… I hate when they place the dumpsters all the way in a far back corner out of the way.

an excellent basic rv park that is immaculately maintained. has a small but comprehensive public area with books, dvds, exercise equipment, all nicely done. Clean laundry room and a small putt putt golf course. sites are mostly open and it gets hot here (101 yesterday in heat wave) but friendly folks here made it work out. my site was large and fairly level, plenty of room for larger rvs recommended

A really nice little RV park. The utilities were positioned somewhat strange for the #1 space I was in, but for just an overnight stay it was fine. The lady that checked me in was very nice and did a nice job showing me around. There is a simple workout room, library, clean restrooms and laundry. Well taken care of overall. The only downside was noise from the highway was a bit loud. I needed a fan running to mask the noise.

Great place with a beautiful look and feel. Its really windy but they have planted large tress that will only improve the wind conditions over the years.
