Quail Springs RV Park
Overview
Quail Springs RV Park offers a welcoming atmosphere for travelers looking to experience the beauty of Southwest Texas. This family-owned facility is recognized for its peaceful environment and well-maintained grounds, providing a quiet alternative to busier regional resorts. As you enter the park, the focus on cleanliness and guest comfort becomes immediately apparent, making it a reliable choice for both short-term stays and long-term seasonal visits in a friendly community setting.
Location & Surroundings
Located on the north side of Uvalde, the park serves as a primary gateway to the Texas Hill Country. Its position along US Highway 83 allows for easy navigation while remaining secluded enough to avoid heavy traffic noise. The surrounding landscape features the rugged beauty of the region, with the clear waters of the nearby Frio River carving through the limestone terrain just a short drive to the north, offering a scenic backdrop for any road trip.
Amenities & Park Features
Guests can expect modern conveniences designed for the contemporary RVer. The park features spacious pull-through sites equipped with full hookups, including 30 and 50-amp service. Many sites offer level concrete pads to simplify the setup process for larger rigs. On-site amenities include a clean laundry facility, private showers, and a refreshing swimming pool. For those traveling with four-legged companions, the dedicated fenced dog park provides ample room for exercise and play.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The park is ideally situated for outdoor enthusiasts. A short trip takes visitors to the iconic Garner State Park, famous for its summer dances and extensive hiking trails. In the warmer months, floating the Frio River in nearby Concan is a local tradition that should not be missed. History buffs can explore the Briscoe-Garner Museum in downtown Uvalde or enjoy the local boutiques and regional dining options found around the historic town square.
Who This Park Is Best For
Quail Springs RV Park is an excellent fit for Winter Texans seeking a warm, community-oriented climate during the colder months. It also appeals to families who want a quiet, secure home base while exploring the river region. Because of its wide interior roads and generous site dimensions, it is particularly well-suited for big-rig owners who value ease of access and a stress-free parking experience during their travels.

Very nice ADULT ONLY RV Park. Beautiful trees, large lots, some good shade. Just got here Saturday. Wife, me and my trained attack dog. (See pic)

Most unfriendly park I have ever been in. No pool or any activities. Even the people that stay there are unfriendly.

Nice sites, not too crowded. Vicky was very nice and helpful. She was able to get us a site 2 days before the eclipse. We have a 34' 5th wheel and had plenty of space for it. We had a site with shade trees which was very nice.

It is a magical place, it has a very nice vibe, everything is very clean with impressive trees, very quiet, my dogs loved walking and with charming people and workers, you will always receive the best attention, without a doubt, I would recommend it, don't miss out on it, I was there for a while. month and a half for work but I would have liked more

Love this park, have stayed here a few times, friendly easy to work with front office, grounds are well kept, some people have been here a long time and could clean up their sites. We stayed here a few days before, everyone is friendly and it feels safe. They have these old Live Oaks that are so beautiful, just be careful we driving a big rig. Uvalde is a charming town, the First State Bank is a must see, great art collection in a working bank.

Really reasonable rates. Long pull thru gravel site with picnic table on cement pad. Restrooms closed. Nice town.

Great place to stay either short term or long term (done both). Will always go there when I'm back in the area. Prices are good. Staff is friendly. Convenient location to places in town.
