At first I didn't want to rent from this company because of some reviews, but decided to give them a try. The lady at the office is nice and the process is easy and simple. I uploaded some photos of a 10x10 unit that i rented since I couldn't find any photos online before i rented so I figured i would upload some to show it, doesn't come clean if you prefer it cleaned, then get your broom ready 😂 and cleaning supplies.

I rented a 5x5 unit for about a month from these folks, and I had no problems. Renting the space was very simple, their website is great. They even stayed open a little late for me the day I moved in to help me get all set up, very kind. My only hesitation is beyond your own lock on your unit, there isn't much in terms of security, so I was hesitant to go after dark by myself, but this place is more affordable than most storage around town so it just depends on what your needs or priorities are. Having said that, I had no issues, I hardly ever saw other folks there when I'd go by my unit. Location is very convenient for students, just be on the look out for it if you're not familiar with the area, the entrance can sneak up on you.

Brian the manager sold my fathers unit he is a liar do not trust him. My father had passed away and me living 409 miles away was trying to get up to Raleigh to get my fathers items. I had told Brian over the phone multiple times if there was any payment needed before I could get there be sure to call me Brian had my personal number and I have his never once did he call saying hey if you don’t pay we’re auctioning it off. My father also bought Brian a birthday gift probably the only person to ever get him anything. Do not store anything at this place and avoid any dealing with Brian he is a liar and thief in my book

The rates are very reasonable and the location is close to the state fairgrounds where I vend most weekends. I have had only positive experiences with management. They have accommodated moving my unit when there were issues. There has been significant damage to the grounds from poor drainage on adjacent lots. However, they are constantly improving and taking very good care of their clients

This is the first negative review I have ever written in my life because Budget made me mad enough to do so. I Resevered a truck with Budget because they were offering a discount. I got to Raleigh-Cary self storage to pick it up & was told, "we don't have a truck". I said what do you mean I have a confirmation number. The the lady working behind the counter at the storage place tells me that they called me to let me know. I said I never received a call from anyone & she told me, " well she's very reliable" & acted as though she could not care less. I asked what number did "ms. reliable" call & was told it was my cell phone number. I said that's convenient because I have that right here & I looked at all incoming & outgoing calls & even showed the lady that I did not receive a single call from their area code. Then she shows me a hand written note saying that this reliable person "told the customer that we did not have a truck". Now she is saying she actually spoke to me! We called customer service because the lady at self storage said they could find me another truck & he looks it up & says the reservation had been cancelled online & that had to be done by the customer. So I asked why in the hell would I be standing at this counter if I had cancelled my own reservation? He then asked how far am I willing to drive to get another truck, like I should go further out of my way. He said he would call me back & let me know where I could pick one up. He calls back & says they have no truck available until Tuesday & this was on a Saturday. So they provided no help & no solution whatsoever. None of the three people I spoke to ever apologized for their mistake. I had no choice but to find another truck because I had to have one that day. Luckily I went to U-Haul & they were able to help me last minute. It was more expensive but much more organized & certainly reliable as I have used them many times before. I will NEVER use Budget again. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
