Perfectly positioned directly on Fort Myers Beach, the park is uniquely split into two distinct sections: the beach side and the park side. It is nestled in a prime area of the island, making it an easy walk or bike ride to local bistros, ice cream shops, and coastal boutiques. The surrounding geography provides sweeping views of the Gulf and puts guests near the Matanzas Pass Bridge, offering a convenient gateway to the mainland and the rest of the Florida coast.

Despite its vintage feel, the park provides the necessary modern conveniences for a seamless stay, including full hookup sites with water, sewer, and electricity. On-site facilities feature basic amenities such as laundry rooms and a clubhouse that serves as a hub for community interaction. The standout feature is undoubtedly the direct private beach access, which allows visitors to step out of their RV and onto the sand without ever needing to start their engine or leave the property.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
There is no shortage of activity surrounding the park, starting with the Mound House, a nearby historic site built atop an ancient Calusa Indian shell mound. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the pristine trails and paddling routes at Lovers Key State Park are just a short drive south. Additionally, the bustling Times Square district offers a lively atmosphere filled with outdoor dining, live music, and the iconic fishing pier, all perfect for taking in a world-class Florida sunset.

Staff incredibly rude, not only to me but I witnessed it with other campers. Manager-Asst Manager are on a giant power trip. I wanted to remind them hello, you run a trailer park! lol $100 for a “campsite” which was actually in the back lot sleeping with the dumpster and trash pandas. What a joke. That area is not hygienic enough for campers and should be used for boat and car storage like every respectable RV park does. My parents (who have lived in Ft Myers for years now) warned me that this place is nasty. I should’ve listened. I will absolutely never stay here again and plan to spread the word adamantly to every camper I know.

This fun place has the best ever, A++++ employees, from the desk helpers to the property workers !They make you feel so welcome like you are their family! The sites on the beach side are the best, especially if you love the romantic sights &sounds of the beach living! Toes in the sand & drinks in your hand!

I'm just a little shock after trying to reserve a beach site for this summer. I called the office beginning of February just to find out that everything on the beach is reserved. I was like ok well then let me reserve for next year to what I was informed that next summer is completely booked as well. Apparently the same people reserve the beach sites over and over and over again every year before anyone else get a chance to reserve. Can someone please tell me how to get a site on the beach? What's the secret? Because I have tried calling a year ahead and it is still impossible. I left 3 start just for the experience of reserving the site was very frustrating. TY

We love Red Coconut Park! We just stayed for two weeks and enjoyed it very much! We wish we could’ve stayed longer! What’s not to like about being on the beach?! The staff was very accommodating and worked with us. I never used the restrooms, but my husband said they were clean every time he used them. This was our first trip of many, we can’t wait until next year!

We rented a trailer across the street from beach, it was a pleasant stay. Two minute walk to beach was very easy, the pedestrian crosswalk is right out front of office. Its about a 3 mile round trip walk to pier and back.

We've been coming to Red Coconut for 4 years and rate them as #1 each time. Normally our visits are in November but we decided to also come in October for a few days as well. Pam found us a spot on the beach side for our 40 footer and we can't thank her enough. The entire staff here is great, friendly and always there to help you if needed. If you RV you cannot find a better beach location. By far our favorite RV get away! I have to respond to a couple of poor reviews I just saw. For over 6 years we've been coming to the Red Coconut and NEVER, and I mean NEVER has anyone been rude to us. Our friends that we met during our stays have been coming to Red Coconut for over 10 years and feel the same way. The staff have all been wonderful and if you ever make it during Thanksgiving, they put on a terrific spread for ALL guests, Covid was an exception and they still brought a Thanksgiving dinner to each individual coach. That's going the extra mile for sure. To the RVrs out there, we've all experienced Bad Neighbors that can only complain. Feel good in knowing your stay would be excellent and if by chance you have a problem, their staff will do everything they can to make it right. We're Happy Campers, especially when we're staying at Red Coconut!

Location is unbeatable! Red Coconut RV Park has 2 sites: one on the beach (right on the sand) and another one accross a busy avenue. Even though the one accross the street is still really close to the beach, if you have to carry chairs, umbrellas, etc, it might be a pain. Also, the site on the beach doesn't have permanent residents, which leaves more space for the RVs and looks more like a real RV park (other than a regular trailer park). The spots are really tight, but it wasn't hard to park a 37 feet Travel Trailer. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the parking ordeal. Quiet park but not a lot of space for kids to ride their bikes around. Beach is amazing. White sands and lots of shells.

I loved this place and plan to go again next year! The security guard we met there was friendly, kind and helped us get our motorhome in the lot. This place is right on the water with a beautiful beach that's not over populated. It was beautiful and very relaxing. Tip: If you don't want to use your shower in your RV/Camper/Motorhome there is showers there but I suggest you bring a pair of water shoes you can use it the shower. My one and only issue with this place is they need to keep their bathrooms/showers clean more often. Other than that everything else was perfect. Great place to relax and unwind.

Wow. What a place. People, staff were friendly and accommodating. If you have an RV you have to come here. We were on the “third” row beach side. We would have loved to be on the front row. What a view. Ours was great though. Kids love the water so we couldn’t have been happier. Waiting to return. Thanks for having us.
