Beautiful campground with very nice people. It has a big camp store, a large pool, playground, and dog park. I plan to stay there every year we go to the state fair or Kings Dominion which are both within minutes.

This KOA was very nice and I have no complaints, the bathrooms were not as nice as other KOAs but they were adequate. The pool was very nice and was very clean for an outdoor pool. It was very close to Yorktown and other historical sites, Busch gardens, water country USA, and especially kings dominion. The store was nice but was a tad bit overpriced. This was a nice KOA that I would go to again.

We pitched a tent, but cabins and RV spots are available. Great place to stay if you are planning on going to Kings Dominion amusement park. Also, season pass holders score a discount Great shuttle every 30 minutes or so (ours got stuck at railroad crossing and delayed), but great and friendly service

Perfect little family campground very clean very helpful staff. I recommend bringing bikes or roller skates for the kids even scooters. The shuttle bus got us to Kings Dominion within five minutes we were dropped off at the front entrance Tim I believe was his name was our driver. He was very nice and very quick.

This was an awesome KOA! The campground itself was nice and well maintained. The bathrooms were large and clean, the pool was huge, and there were areas to play basketball, volleyball and cornhole. The laundry room was great, the store was nice and offered ice cream and snacks, and you could hang out there and play games or watch tv. (Perfect on rainy days!) The workers were all super friendly and helpful. The best part was the shuttle that ran regularly to the theme park, this was a huge perk. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this campground!!

Awesome place, you won't be disappointed. All aspects of the park, including the employees' attitudes, shows in the care and pride they take in this place!! Nice spots to park, FREE shuttle to Kings Dominion Theme park! The laundry room is very clean and they still take quarters!! (Go USA!) Although it's a CASH FREE zone (which I think helps keep the hoodlums away?), it's certainly worthy of a stop-by.

Staff is great! They were incredibly friendly and seemed like the core staff has been there a while. We don't have a need to use the facilities, but we usually check them out "just in case," and they were super clean. Sites are, for the most part, nice. Only real downside was the electric/water pedestal on some sites is situated so as to cause your hookups to run basically through your neighbor's site. Just used that as an opportunity to talk to our neighbors, so it wasn't too bad - but I can see where some folks could be put off by that. Fellow campers could be better at policing their sites prior to departure, but I've come to realize my expectations are probably too high for the newer breed of "outdoorsy" folks.

Great location. Many spots with shade if your rig is under 35 feet. Free shuttle service to Kings Dominion. Close to Richmond Raceway, short 20 min drive. Propane refill is decently priced. If you want a Fire at night, bring your own wood, fire wood on site is $9 a bundle which is a smidge high. Overall great place to stay, and lots of activities for the kids.

Really great KOA right next to Kings Dominion. I love that there's a shuttle that takes you right to the park and felt like the tent campsites had plenty of space. The entire KOA was super clean and all the staff were incredibly friendly. Only complaints is I wish the tent sites were a little cheaper and more distanced from the main road, but I understand that this is all based on the proximity to Kings Dominion. Will definitely come back to this KOA anytime I come to Kings Dominion!
