Very well maintained. Nice big lots. I think that if people post complaints it's because they want to hear themselves complain. There are no geese at all and they have things in place to prevent them from coming. We have no complaints about this campground. Yes it is in the city. So know that when you make a reservation and don't complain about it after you stay here. That's where most city park campgrounds are located at. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly. I have no complaints and would recommend this Campground in a heartbeat

We spent 2 nights in a Class A motorhome. It's a beautifully maintained park with full hookups, 30 amp service. Many of the lots have trees for some shade and paved pads for the RV. I read many complaints about the goose droppings, but we had a good experience. It appears they are trying different techniques to keep them off the lawns which worked at our site. Definitely a great value and during the week was easy to get a great spot.

A super awesome campground/RV park right on the river! Lots of wildlife including deer and geese! Spacious level sites with a picnic table and fire pit. You honestly can’t go wrong with this campground as it feels like you are in the country but are smack dab in town! Lots to do and the staff are amazing!! Can’t say enough about this place!

$40 full hook up, well kept park, nice area, nice people. I called and they pencil me in and pay when arrive, email confirmation. Now the negative, cash or check only, so many geese there is crap everywhere but make sure you clean up after your pet! shower house lock down at 8 pm. Don't listen to Slim, he's apparently made at the world

Nice park. No way to reserve anything online. You have to just show up there and if you call nobody answers the phone so these people have not joined the 21st century yet I'm not going there ever again.

There was goose poop everywhere, It was unreal. It got on everything, tent, shoes, anything that touched the gound. That was not even the worst part. The blatent rudeness and cronyism was unreal. I camped there a few times when friend and kid were in town. She checked in while I was at work, and they charged us extra for me because I was not with her when she checked in. Horrible customer service. Different rules apply to different people. If they know you, the rules don't apply. If they don't know you, they make up rules. We had 3 people at our site, and my cousin who lives in Menominee couldn't visit without paying 5 dollars. Meanwhile, the people next to us with 8 people at their site invited us for a drink and informed us none of that applied to them. Just complete lack of professionalism.

Campground with paved lots with views of the river. Decent restrooms and showers. Walking distance to stores. Close to highway traffic and trains creates late night noise.

This is a campground that is very clean with excellent bathroom facilities. It is perfect for a stopover on the way to Munising. As expected in a city campground, there is some noise from trains and cars, but it's not a big deal. There is a good supermarket nearby called Jack’s Fresh where you can buy food.

My fiancé (boyfriend at the time) was working up in Menominee on Lake Michigan so we stayed at this campground for the entire summer of 2021 and I cannot imagine a better experience. I can’t remember her name, but the manager was super accommodating and answered any questions we had. The people in the neighboring campsites were all super friendly and loved our dog Bandit. Tons of grocery and food places nearby, plus a laundromat right next to it which was particularly helpful for us since our camper did not have a washer and dryer! Also a few beaches near. In addition to the fun, I was also taking college courses this summer and they had WiFi so I had no issues staying on top of school. One of the best, most peaceful summers of my life
