We spent the Christmas holiday here and had a great time! The place was definitely a bit sleepy (seems more like a summer spot) but still had great amenities available. We stayed in an arrowhead cabin and while it had a few minor wear and tear items it wasn't anything that affected our trip. The staff seemed happy to know a few minor things in the place needed to be fixed/replaced. Overall would highly recommend!

I rented the Arrowhead studio for a few days while I'm moving out of my house. I have a pet and they do allow pets in this unit. This studio is clean, charming and comfortable. The white washed wooden interior is so pretty, there is a microwave, refrigerator, sink and it is stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, cups and a Keurig. The bathroom is generously sized, and for a mountain cabin, it's very nicely done. It's almost spa like. There is a small dining table and a comfy sofa as well as a king size bed. The sofa opens up into a sleeper. There is a Weber gas grill and a fire pit. During the summer there is a picnic table but they store them away during the winter so they can plow the cement patio. There is a large covered deck with Adirondack chairs and I even have a view of the mountains. Because it's winter the pool is closed but two hot tubs are operating as well as one restaurant. I'm hitting the hot tub today and planning on checking out the restaurant for lunch. However if you're traveling with kids during the summer months the pool is very nice and the pool restaurant is open then. They also have larger cabins as well as nice RV sites. It's close to Granby and just a hop, skip and a jump from Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm loving the Arrowhead Studio.

Off season cabin rental. The place had a grill, microwave and mini fridge. The shower was spacious and the bed was comfortable, they had Adirondack chairs on the covered porch and the star gazing view was amazing. TV mounted on the wall with cable was a bonus. We’ve been here camping many times with our camper, but didn’t want to hassle with it this time in November.

Sun Outdoors is a favorite summertime hangout. There is live music and a beautiful west facing view of the mountains which makes for the perfect summertime place to relax and appreciate the scenery. The service and food are good and the mini bowling and arcade are also super fun... even for adults. A favorite hangout for this Grand Couny native. Highly recommend!

My husband and I absolutely love this place. We try to visit a few times a year and always look forward to it. It's a beautiful area with mountain views, the grounds are clean and walkable, there is plenty to do on location such as swimming in the pool, playing in the basketball or tennis areas, eating at the restaurants, etc. and it is close to RMNP as well as multiple lakes. Mitch and his wonderful wife (I'm so sorry, I forgot her name, but she is fantastic) made us feel so welcome and taken care of on our latest visit. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were having a lovely visit. I truly felt that they cared and it was really nice to meet such kind people. Everything from the rooms to the activities to the staff is amazing here! We cannot wait to visit again!

I was there in the fall. Last stop on my trip. I was in the area just cruising, did a nearby hotel search and found this place. The staff was great. See I showed up early, like a day. The staff, I'm in the off season here, the place did not have many guests at the time I was out there. I was Aspen watching. The staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, they got my Studio Cabin ready in about, 30 minutes. I was impressed. I used to travel for a living, so, I've seen my fair share of hotels and such. The staff was awesome, every time I dealt with them. The Studio Cabin. I absolutely Loved it. The porch, the grill, the fire pit, I used all 3. Awesome. Plenty of space for me and my dog. That's my next topic, to the staff, being able to bring my dog, to hotels .......is greatly appreciated. She loved it too, she sat at the sliding glass door, a lot. The whole setup was unique and nice. The large tiled shower was a pleasant surprise. I spent 2 days here and I have zero complaints. For a 62 year old man that used to travel? That says a lot. If I'm ever back in the area, you can bet, I'll be staying here for a few days. Owners. You all did a great job on this place. Loved the fact you have to go through a security gate to get in. I don't know what else to say. Don't hesitate to stay here. I won't.

Our family just enjoyed our very first stay at Sun Outdoors, and we are absolutely thrilled with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning accommodations and the incredibly welcoming staff. The grounds are nothing short of spectacular, and the location is perfect—just a short 20-minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this RV park, especially during the fall season. The foliage is truly breathtaking, and we are pleasantly surprised to discover that the trees here rival the famed autumn colors of the Northeast! Every corner of the park is adorned with vibrant hues, making it a perfect backdrop for unforgettable family memories. Let's just say, we’re already reluctant to leave! I must take a moment to give a special shout-out to Mitch, who works behind the bar at Summit Bar & Grill. He went above and beyond to make us feel like family, serving up not only delicious but beautifully crafted drinks that added a special touch to our evenings. If you come to experience the natural beauty of Sun Outdoors and the Rocky Mountains, make sure to stop by Summit Bar & Grill and say “hello” to Mitch from us!

Our stay at Sun Outdoors was fantastic. We had a studio cabin. It was extremely comfortable, very clean, well appointed. The grounds are fantastic. We had our senior dog with us and she loved the dog park. There are so many activities we didn't have time to do everything. It's perfectly situated between Grand Lake and Fraser/Winter Park. We will definitely be back, hopefully for longer next time.

I'm sure this place is amazing in the Summer - but spring is not it, and cant even imagine Winter. Its very desolate, and creepy. The facility and grounds are beautiful, but so empty. Thats not my issue though, my issue is youre paying full price to stay in the winter/spring and almost everything was closed or broken. Tons of games in the arcade were broken, bowling was broken and took $20 from us - we were only refunded for 1 game ($6). Beautiful weather, and no lawn games, stores were closed, even the dog park was locked up, and this was on a beautiful saturday! Service was terrible all around.... I get it, its the off season, I wouldnt be so annoyed if they didnt charge full price.

Very unprofessional. Particularly Stacie. Customer service needs to be worked on. Stacie would rather hang up on you before caring about your reservations. Longtime customer to this place. Plenty of business sent their way. Losing a loyal client and plenty of business. Zero stars.
