We were so very impressed with River View RV park. The owners have thought of everything that makes the park comfortable and homey as well as equipped with family friendly touches. Pierre is a wonderful community to visit. I highly recommend it to anyone going through for one night or a week!

Well maintained, fast wifi, gracious hosts, level sites and full hookups. Who could ask for anything more? Oh and the views of the Capitol, the Oahe Dam, the bridges and the Missouri River are all amazing.

All pull thru gravel sites with compressed dirt roads. Full hook ups. Owners are great, friendly with lots of information about the area. Be prepared for wind as the sites are on a bluff.

This campground is on a high ridge with great views over the river. The campsites are level with gravel. The sunrise was red due to the smoke from the Canada fires

This RV park has a great view of Pierre, the state capitol building, and the Missouri River. Site was level and hookups were good. It was beautiful at night, too. Owner is onsite and provides great customer service. We stopped for one night. She took the time to ask where we were headed and brought maps and brochures that were very helpful. She takes pride in the park and it shows.

Our cross-country trip was unexpectedly delayed due to inclement weather and we ended up staying here for 3 nights. Great location just off the highway. Amazing view and close to amenities in town. Guest lodge is very clean and has bathrooms, showers, and laundry utilities. There is a small shop just down the road to fill up propane. Walmart is a 10 minute drive. Hospitality was amazing. I definitely recommend staying at River View RV Park.

Yes, you get a view of the river, but you get a lovely view of the entire Pierre area as the camp is located on a high bluff. Utilities work well. Wifi fast enough to stream. Friendly staff. Office has books and DVDs and games to lend. Sites are level and packed gravel. At the time of this writing the trees are still a bit young but soon should grow up to provide great shade. I had a pleasant stay here.

We stayed here a month. The views are unbeatable. The place is super clean and the owners are so friendly. We will come back for sure. They have seats for you all along the edge so you can really enjoy the view. They have fire pits and wood for you as well. A cute play area for the kids and a tent area with electricity. Some notes for new campers. The wind does get very strong so don't leave your awning out if your gone. The weather is up and down. Some days super hot and muggy others nice and chilly. So prepare for anything.
