This RV park/campground was a great find. We stayed because of it's closeness to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It turned out to have so much more great things about it than the proximity to the National Park. The park it'self is very nice, spacious, clean, friendly staff, sites that back right up to the river, a lake/pond next door with a trail to walk around, it's right next to the river trail that goes along the river to the other side of town, it has tall trees, it's close to services and shopping...a great place. It's even close enough to other fun little towns...like Ridgeway where we went for a day to enjoy their art festival (one of the best we've ever been to) and other fun little towns we visited during out two week stay. We highly recommend this park!
Cozy In The Cloud
This park was such a pleasant surprise! We stayed here for 5 weeks in one of the best sites in the park, right on the river. The park is extremely kept up with including the laundry facility. The staff was out every day leaf blowing, refilling propane, and keep the park looking clean and tidy. But the highlight is definitely the people! Cody set such a great tone upon arrival, guiding us to our site and giving us helpful tips about the park. Gary was also a standout - SO kind and friendly. One of our dogs tried to search for him every day and I know will miss him a lot. The RV park is a good mix of short term folks and longer terms folks, many of which are incredibly friendly as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend this park and we hope to be back someday!

Great park - we had a back in site right on the river. Scenic and a nice change from other places we've stayed. The view on the other side of the river is the back side of a shopping center, so there are lights from that at night, but it wasn't a big deal. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The sites are nicely spaced out and well maintained. They come around and clean the gravel and tables after each camper checks out. The city of Montrose was great. Big enough (around 20K population) to have a variety of stores/restaurants to go to, small enough to be friendly and welcoming. Several stores we went to offered "local" produce which is something that I like to get. We enjoyed a day of hiking and exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison when we were here. Will definately stay here again if we are in the area!

We pulled up here at 530pm on a weekday hoping for a spot....what a beautiful and clean RV park! The location along the creek was beautiful, management was so helpful and friendly, the other RVers were super nice, lovely dog park for our dog to enjoy plus another space down by the creek and the bathrooms were spotless! It was our first try at an RV park and we couldn't have been happier. It was close to town as well so easy to get around. Definitely stop here and I hope to be back! Thanks so much!

This park is absolutely a 10/10. I can’t recommend it highly enough! They actually enforce their policies, including late arrivals and dog rules, which keeps everything running smoothly. The bathrooms are pristine, secure with a code, and the showers are fantastic, with plenty of heat adjustment. The sites are enormous, giving us space for our truck, camper, a second car, a motorcycle, and two bicycles, with room to spare. The WiFi is blazing fast. My wife works remotely and has had zero issues, even during video calls, and we can stream 4K content on YouTube without a hitch. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They even text you when you receive mail and checked in about our arrival time ahead of our stay. When we let them know we’d be arriving a few hours early, they were totally fine with it. The park itself feels very safe and secure, with a gated entrance requiring a code. It’s also conveniently located, you can walk to town, and there’s a bike path right next to the park. A beautiful pond and a river run right through the property, adding to the charm. They even make fresh coffee every morning and leave it by the office. If you want a clean, well-managed, and truly accommodating park, this is the place to stay. Highly, highly recommend!

This place is just stunning! You feel like your relaxing in the moutains by the river, but just right in a city. We stayed a few nights in a cabin with our 2 and 4 year old. They also offer a ton of RV spots. The staff was so welcoming and kind! The area is beautiful and clean. It felt safe with the gate as well. My kids loved the grass area and teepee. We will definitely be coming back!

This is an absolute beautiful RV park. The grounds are immaculate, has wonderful shade trees, and colorful floral baskets all around. The restrooms are the cleanest I have ever seen. The manager and the owner of the park stopped by and visited with us. They were so friendly. We will be back. Everything was just exceptional!!!!

We chose this campground due to its reviews and proximity to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It ended up being one of the best parks we've ever stayed. We had a site along the river which was wonderful. Very level sites, exceptionally clean grounds and facilities, and secure access all made for a great stay. Truly a gem, but don't tell anyone about it!! Lol.

My stay was early- spring and short. The facility was immaculatley clean (great shower area), the RV area spacious with clean-clear hookups. The area is very secure (key-password security gates). It is right next to an excellent bicycle trail into town.

Our family of four stayed in the cabin with the loft. It was right next to the river and very relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful. Close to groceries if you need anything and it is only 30 minute drive from here to the Black canyon
