A note to the new owners... What a shame, closed two years in a row. This used to be a nice campground under the previous owners. I don't know what the new owners are like but they seem to be scared of their own shadow. Afraid to open up unlike EVERY OTHER CAMPGROUND in South Jersey. We love the lake and those sites but they lost our business for good.

Previous owner used to take care of the place, this new guy is running it into the ground. No upkeep or general maintenance has been done to the property and it's a total eyesore. What a waste of a beautiful lake.

Is any remodeling getting done over the winter?? Drove by all I saw were new locks on the gates and camera warning signs. Will the showers be up and running in the spring? Will some one be cleaning them a few times a week? Will the leaves be raked up this year? Will someone be maintaining the beach for swimming? Please keep us posted on the new updates happening at Roamers Beach Resort this year! We can’t wait until spring to see the new progress!

I use to come here every summer when I was a kid and I loved it!!!! This place is amazing it's beautiful!! Camping is camping in a tent not an Rv or cabin...... That's how real camping is....... Every summer my family and I camped in a tent for a week sometimes even longer. It was awesome but now that we can't even camp in tents and ONLY Rvs are permitted is ridiculous....... If you think differently and you "camp" in an Rv than you aren't really camping!....... You should at least give people the choice to either camp in tent or Rv. Not ONLY Rvs!!! GIVE PEOPLE A CHOICE!!!!!!!

It's a dump . This guy made a total eye sore for the neighborhood. Not one upgrade. No one is around doing anything! Sad to see a place that had such potential & you ran it to the ground.

I booked the sight a month in advance and nobody mentions that the showers don’t work. I didn’t get a phone call until we had already checked in and paid and the kids were in the lake. This is when they decided to tell me the showers haven’t been working all season because they under renovations. Would have been good to know this prior to staying there. Other then that, nice sights, great view but definitely need updating all around.

My husband and I were at this campground last weekend for a mini vacation. We fell in love with Indian Branch last year and Roamers is on it's way to making this campground amazing. The sites are perfect, not packed in like some other parks. The staff is VERY friendly, talked to everyone that works there. Overall we did not want to leave!

I suggest you check this place out before you make reservations. I really wanted to like this place as it is close and a Christian business. I really appreciated seeing Bible verses around the campground. BUT this is super rustic. We basically dry camp with our RV at NJ state campgrounds. All I can say is that most of the state campgrounds are beautiful and half the price. Yes, no hookups but that is not a problem for us. Indian Branch does have WIFI and hook ups but it has no paved roads and it just looks not cared for. We drove around and checked it out - and left.

Let me start by saying this campground IS on the older side. It’s not going to give you all the amenities that some will offer, but we love the lake!! We have a site (there are many) that sit right on the beach and the kids can just play in the water all day. They even have Sunday church service if you’re interested. It’s pretty quiet and not crowded, so we will definitely be back. Also, WiFi at the campsite is a plus!!!
