Definitely our favorite campground. The setting is absolutely beautiful. The owners are amazing. The employees are amazing. They have a beautiful pool and a very nice lake and the campsites or spacious and level. Place is full of great people. It is very close to lake Shelbyville.

Camping rate was great. Bathrooms were large warm and clean. They did have pushbutton type water in shower. Our site was level grassy and tree. I could hear the highway all night. Staff was friendly.

If I could rate negative in stars for their cabins I would. Beyond disgusting. I get it ..it’s camping but it is not in the middle of a forest where supplies are limited…we had multiple beds in our cabin..all were made nicely until you pull back the covers and see food crumbs (a lot of crumbs like a kid dumped a bag of chips crumbs) and body hair all over. They gave us a used kitchen sponge to clean with that had some nasty stuff embedded..all our coffee mugs looked like they were just drank out off because they had crusty coffee..the coffee maker had coffee grounds caked in. Inch of dust on the tv component on the shelf..oh and how about the dog ball with slime and sticks sitting on the bed. They did not vacuum at all..when we asked for clean sheets and a vacuum they said oh so sorry and changed the sheets but still never vacuumed or cleaned the tv area. Honestly I cleaned and bagged everything when we got home I was so disgusted. These photos don’t do it justice on just how gross these cabins are. And it’s not just a one off. We had friends who said they found old candy wrappers and food in their bed..and were also given used kitchen sponge. The camper area is good but the cabins made it miserable to stay.

It wasn't the cleanest cottage, noticeable dirt under the bed, we washed what dishes we were going to use before using them because coffee pot wasn't clean, grease on the stove, greasy smears on table. A/C didn't cool the small room at all (we had it set at 66°), they advertise free wifi and there was none not even outside (as I was told to try). Nice place to use your own camper just not a fan of the cottage.

Great location, right next to the largest man made dam and lake. Shop is organized and well taken care of. We missed the opportunity to swim in the pool, but it looked very well maintained and clean. Great for walking around if you want to walk a dog or just go for a walk. Clean and taken care of as a whole. Cabins look super nice and fun, we stayed in a camper so that's unknown territory.

Very nice park. Lots for kids to do. Close to the bike trails so we could ride. Quiet during the day, little loud at night. Nice staff that let us borrow tools to fix our bikes. Friendly staff!! Thanks!!
