As a seasoned 30 year RVer and Albion College grad, I’ve known of Rockey’s Campground for years but never stayed there until September 2025. I was looking for a campground that was family friendly, relatively close to home, could offer at least water/electric, and had two sites next to each other to camp with friends. Rockey’s delivered on that and more! The relatively new owners of the park are very dedicated to giving the best experience possible, and the whole family is involved! For a quiet fall weekend, they had a nice variety of activities. Transient sites are a little unlevel, but they’re working on it, so bring supplies to level four both ways in the meantime. Also, Silvers Lake is a great recreational paradise for kayaking, paddle boarding, or even small power boating. They rent or you can bring and launch your own. Want to catch a squirmy creature in the water? There are probably many to choose from. Despite the unsuspecting entrance in the middle of a corn field, Rockey’s is a little slice of paradise tucked in on a peninsula. We will be back!

This has been a wonderful place to stop and rest. The new owners have been very kind and accommodating. They have kept up the previous owners activities and events, while also adding great family friendly ones as well. My time spent here was never dull, if there was something I wanted to do, I could! From Rockeys Outdoor Club, boating, kayaking, lake swimming, and the community room with pool, games and weekly evening bingo, there are so many things to do! The best part was the serene quietness of this park. I have never had such a great nights rest- full of nothing but crickets and the occasional bird chirping or frog ribbiting. I occasionally even saw little rabbits getting some foliage for dinner! I would highly recommend this campground.

What an amazing time at Rocky's campground! I highly recommend this campground to anyone especially families. We stayed in The rustic cabin and couldn't be happier!! They had amazing activities for the kids! On Saturday the campground had a lovely brunch ready for anyone that would like to attend. They also provided arts and crafts for the family. Decorating Crocs, and making a candle holder from real dried out flowers. They have so many games in the community room. They even have a cute little farmers market that comes with fresh veggies and Amish baked goods . The owner Katie and her husband are amazing. They were so friendly and welcoming and genuinely wanted us to have a good time.. we will definitely be back on a yearly basis. We did not want to check out!!! We also rented a pontoon for the afternoon exploring the five beautiful lakes. The bathrooms are clean and they sell firewood have a little cute general store with ice and bait.. thank you so much Rockys Campground.

We loved staying at Rockeys. We were there for two months for work. The new owners Katie and Nick are super helpful and nice. My daughter had the best time playing with their kids and playing on the playground. Every weekend had fun activities and we were able to rent a boat. Highly recommend staying there especially if you have a family.

We camp in a 34ft RV with 3-4 kids and multiple dogs. We are avid campers and have been around the US in our travels. Rockey's Campground is beyond excellent. First off: There is no confusion when checking in, a staff member meets you at your campsite and helps you get set. Firewood is delivered if you need it. Sites are well cared for and easy access for any size rig. The new owners Nick and Katie have gone above and beyond customer service standards to revitalize the resort. They want you happy and relaxed and thats exactly what they provide! Sunday morning breakfast and bingo were big hits for the kids and adults. Fishing was great off the dock and in the rented pontoon as well. The chain of lakes is very unique. The playground area is centrally located and is easy to keep an eye on the kids from just about any campsite. I highly recommend this family friendly resort and we will definitely be back soon!

We had a seasonal site and loved it. We were engaged in the daily activities and loved the events and we miss the family's very much. The owners, Vickie and Rob are tyrants, to the point of unlawful actions. Culture and attitude is everything, they failed miserably. Total failure

This is the best campground we've stayed. The staff is awesome and friendly. The campground itself immaculate. The staff was out picking up sticks after a storm rolled through. When we first arrived, one of the owners escorted us to our site and backed us in. We are planning another trip soon. Oh, by the way, the price per night is fantastic for your stay. Well worth every penny. Many thanks and we'll see you again soon. Don & Sherry Laughman

After finding the campground online, we were excited about our upcoming visit. My youngest daughter asked if we had checked the reviews, which made us a bit skeptical. However, our actual experience turned out to be different. The campground enforces rules for safety and a hassle-free experience, preventing issues like unleashed dogs, unsupervised children near water, disruptive individuals, and speeding vehicles on-site. These rules prioritize basic safety. The owners run the business efficiently, with a direct approach that I appreciate. They are accommodating and helpful in getting guests settled. Apart from one camper who seemed to be overindulging, we had a great time and plan to return. Thanks to the team for their good work. We're looking forward to visiting again soon!

Rocky's is a nice, clean, fun, place to camp. Perfect for kayaking /fishing with channels & 5 lakes. Owners Rob & Vickie are helpful and fun. Willing to help any way they can if you need anything. Perfect for kids also if you have them. Holidays are fun and there are events you can participate in or not. Bathrooms and showers are well maintained and clean.

Had a friend staying here. We visited a couple times to help her with camper issues & the owner was flat out rude. He yelled at children for riding their bikes down a hill over Labor Day weekend, told us we were speeding down the dirt road leading to the campground. We were doing the posted speed limit. The dirt road is filled with potholes so not sure how we could even speed unless we wanted our vehicle ruined. He complained that a guest arrived at 6:05, not 6:00. Just completely rude. Why own a campground if you have people? I wouldn’t recommend this campground especially if you have kids.
