I've never personally stayed here but I've visited many times and purchased items from the store at the entrance. It's a cozy area with a big pavilion where they host corn hole tournaments, have live music on Saturday nights, and there's a small but spread out playground beside the pavilion. The camper sites have various sizes of yard space, depending on which area of the park you're located. The pool is small but nice, I've never been when it was uncomfortably busy.

Attended a birthday party under the pavilion. The snack bar food was yummy. There was a live band playing. The campground is very inviting with lots of beautiful views of rolling hills and mountains.

Out on bail band performed on Aug 3rd . We had a blast . People are very friendly . Place is very clean . I loved the store very clean and so much to purchase there. I even loved they have special bones on the counter for your dogs. Something for everyone. Ross Girard that did hire us stayed through our performance and was a very big help. He also stayed up until the time we packed up. Very nice. Everyone is pleasant. We had a blast and would definitely love to come back and hopefully even camp there. Specially hanging up our American Flag made me so Proud . God Bless America. Charmaine & the Out On Bail Band , We Thank you all for welcoming us in your beautiful place. Thank you

Great place, out of the way and yet still just a hop skip and a jump to town.

We have been camping at Running Bear since our girls were very little. Although we could go anyplace else we always find ourselves at Running Bear! It’s the place the kids feel at home...my husband has many friends and the staff and owners make you feel like part of the family. Over the years the next generation of our married children now bring their kids! If you are looking for “that” place to camp. This is “that” place !

We have been camping here at RBCA for a very long time and have enjoyed our time here. The Owners and staff have always been pleasant, very helpful. If you need something they are right there to help. Unfortunately, this past weekend there where some college students that came in to stay in tents for an event they were attending over the weekend, simple process-make a reservation and pay your fee. Well there were 21 reservations made and well over 200 people that just kept coming in, did not pay, did not follow the rules, speed limit is 5mph, they did not slow down when asked to. Long story short… most of the tenters in this group were very disrespectful to the owners, staff and other paying campers. They even placed very rude stickers on someone’s brand new truck! When asked not to return the next day, they packed their tents and left, yelling vulgar names at the owners and staff and driving at an excessive speed- speed limit is 5 mph for a reason. I feel bad for the ones that followed the simple process and made a reservation, they did not get to enjoy the campground because of the many others that didn’t. Thank you Ross and Buffy, we had a great season and can’t wait to come back next year! Oh, these are some of the pictures, mostly the ones that didn’t make a reservation, wanted to start a bonfire without even asking, how rude!

Thank goodness they were open when most everyone else was closed for winter. However the showers & restrooms were extremely nasty. The shower was nothing but exposed pvc pipes. Overall it was a good place to stay since everywhere else was closed.
