Located just off Interstate 90 on the scenic outskirts of Sturgis, the park is surrounded by towering ponderosa pines and quiet, rolling meadows. Its location offers a unique advantage: it is close enough to town for easy access to supplies and dining but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The surrounding terrain provides a perfect backdrop for evening strolls, and it is common to see local wildlife passing through the natural forest borders of the property.

Guests can enjoy spacious pull-thru sites with full hookups that easily accommodate the largest motorhomes. On-site amenities include a heated swimming pool and hot tub, a well-maintained dog park, and clean laundry facilities. A unique highlight of the park is the on-site beer garden and grill, where travelers can unwind with a local brew and a meal after a long day of exploring the wilderness.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Positioned as a central hub for sightseeing, the park provides easy access to the most iconic sights in the region. Guests are just a short drive from the historic town of Deadwood and the sheer limestone cliffs of Spearfish Canyon. For those interested in national monuments, Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial are manageable day trips. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to endless hiking, biking, and off-road trails that define the Black Hills National Forest experience.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is an ideal match for big-rig travelers who require extra space and level pads without sacrificing a lush, natural setting. Families will appreciate the safe environment and various recreational facilities, while couples often prefer the quiet evenings spent relaxing by a fire. It is a perfect fit for those who want a resort-style experience that serves as a high-quality home base for exploring both historic landmarks and rugged mountain adventures in the Sturgis area.

I didn't stay here. Just stopped by to fill up on propane while passing through. Very nice and well-kept facilities, though, and the staff were super friendly. Great price for propane, too. Would definitely stay here if I was in the area to visit.

We stumbled across this place looking for a bathroom of the highway. The location is stunning and the cabins looked delightful. The staff is what made it stand-out even more. They were genuinely interested in talking with us and were more than friendly. My girlfriend and I put this place on our list of places to stay on future trips. We anticipate a great experience.

The campground hosts are just the friendliest, nicest, and most helpful people. We really loved them. For those who will visit the campground, I'd mention that I stayed during bike week and there were so many campers and tents crammed in everywhere that it was crazy. You will definitely be very, very close to the other campers. There is no real "store", they have a few basic items, but plan ahead to bring what you need or get it in town. Nice playground, laundry room was good enough and appreciated. Neat little Tiki Bar type set up with live music on the weekends. We rented a cabin and it was just great. Very nice on the inside. Future campers need to know that although there are pots, pans, dishes, etc., it was still missing some basic stuff--like a spatula or a sharp knife. Maybe pack a small kitchen kit to supplement what's available. I would definitely stay again.

Got here the day after the rally ended. Staying in the rear area, and when we arrived, there were only 4 RV's back here. It is so quiet. Office staff was great, and the camp store is stocked with enough stuff that you might need. We reserved 2 weeks here sight unseen based upon a YouTube video of a trusted source. Have not been disappointed. The first couple rows in the back are really tricky pull through with a 34 foot 5th wheel. Office allowed us to move to a slightly easier site to pull into. Once in the spot, the site is level, and really enjoying our stay. Will definitely come back here if travel allows.

This has been an amazing campground to stay at! Super hot showers, great amenities, awesome location just outside Sturgis, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s not super packed and crowded like other campsites. We’re currently guests here all the way from PHX, AZ and they left our check in packet ready for us after hours. The prices can’t be beat, and we’ll definitely return next year!

Hands down the best park in this area of South Dakota! If you're traveling with a pet, then this is the place to be! Finding parks with enough space to actually PLAY with a dog is very difficult, but not at Rush No More! The RV spaces are a little tight (but show me an park where they're not!) but it's well worth it for the beauty and peacefulness of the forest, while being just a mile from the interstate and 5 minutes from Sturgis. The laundry and common area are immaculate. I stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. I'm going back to SD in Spring next year, and I know where I'm staying! Rush No More turned an otherwise stressful trip to South Dakota into a trip I'll never forget (for the right reasons!). Keep up the great work, and I'll see you next year!

Great place...far enough from the freeway to eliminate the worst of the noise, yet close enough to be convenient. Nice facilities.

Great campground outside sturgis. Has a nice heated pool and hot tub by the office. Kickstands bar/music venue is right across the interstate.
