Saddle Valley Ranch has been a great place to ride that’s why I have been there 3 times now in the past two years usually staying 6 days of riding. Wayne and Karen have been fantastic host/owners. Wayne has been willing to ride out with us when we want to learn a new trail and usually we bring six horse riders. They have always shown us great hospitality. I highly recommend Saddle Valley Ranch. The stalls are plenty big enough and easy to clean with manure pits close by. The turn out paddocks are roomy and are a nice addition. Water and electricity easy to hook up to. We usually hit the trails for 12-15 miles a day and I’m still learning new trails. I’m always willing to check out the new trails also. Bathroom are always clean and showers are hot.

One of my favorite places to go and many places to ride. You can ride for days if you just keep going and going. The camping is awesome. You can be private or you can visit it’s all up to you on what you really want. Highly recommend you go here

By far my favorite after 25+ years of trail riding and horse camping in Arkansas. My mare gives it a 5-star rating too. Level RV sites have full hook-ups adjacent to large grassy corrals with shelters (which they clean for you when you leave). Plenty of room between campsites with fire pits and free firewood. Nice, clean private bathrooms and phone/Wi-Fi signal at the main building. I'm still learning the extensive trail system but the ones I've ridden were great with spectacular overlooks. It's best to download the app they recommend or go with someone who knows them as there are no printed maps and the trails in National Forest are not marked. Shoes or boots highly recommended as is the case anywhere in the Ozarks. Close to excellent fishing and kayaking on Lower Buffalo and White River.

Nice campground, electric/water/sewer, plenty of space, dry lots with covered run, great bathhouse with nice covered wrap around deck. Trails were pretty, but NOT marked at all, could get very lost. No physical maps, have to use the app, it can be hard to navigate and drains your phone before you make it off the trail. Overall good place to stay and not to far from town.

Love the corrals with shelter for the horses and sewer, water, elec at every site was great! Owners are good folks working hard to make this place a one of a kind equine getaway. Lots of big things in the works for this place. Can't wait to be back to see the progress and of course to ride in the Buffalo River again. Trails are everything from pretty back roads to narrow switch backs. Know your abilities and ask the host for best trails 4 you. Gaia is the app they use if want to download prior. Only real reception is by their really nice bath house.

We had a great time! This camp is a great work in progress! Having water ,sewer and electricity makes the stay so much easier. The horses can have paddocks or stalls. We loved the paddocks because the horses could come back and move around easily after a long ride. Wayne and Karen were great hosts. They helped us download trail maps which were easy to follow. The trails allow for easy or challenging riding. We really enjoyed a night ride along the Buffalo and White river. THIS IS TRAIL RIDING AT ITS BEST! We will be back. Carter and Phyllis Strain
