I stayed in this park 19 years ago when I first moved to SF. Its a great park. But unfortunately they lost some space when some of the cliff collapsed into the ocean. I have a great view and I am about 80 ft from the cliff. The sounds of the waves are enjoyable. The laundry room is great, no need for quarters as there is an app that you can use. There is free coffee, coco, or tea in the lobby. There are two bath houses on property but one is currently under renovation. The local longterm people are great and helpful. Make sure you grease your trailer Jack's at the salty sea spray will rust them quick. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping at Safeway or Ace Hardware. Dont forget to check out Mazzentti Bakery for some spectacular pastries.

So I was in my RV so I can't say about rooms. What I can say is plenty. Definitely not a glamorous RV resort. BUT the staff Definitely makes up for it. The staff here is so inviting and welcoming. VERY CLEAN!! GREAT LOCATION! The views are breathtaking! I felt so safe. I can not say enough about how lovely the staff is. Definitely recommend staying here to visit San Francisco .

For dedicated RVers SFRV Resort may be paradise. Great view, accomodating customer service both online and office, nice laudromat, stores, bakery, hardware store very walkable. However, as noted in many reviews, fairly crowded, site and adjacent bluffs suffered dramatic landslides. The beach is quiet, but littered with abandoned concrete foundations and precarious building structures atop the failing bluffs. Not surfable waves. My lesson learned, look for campgrounds, not RV parks.

The worst RV park we have ever stayed at. Only one bathroom for 150 sites because the other bathroom was being "remodeled". The only men's bathroom (furthest from our site) had a door malfunction and we had to call to get in and have it fixed. The dog run is not fenced, just a strip of mud and grass that blackened my dogs paws. The back gate is left wide open until after 11 pm and people come in from the street to use the showers, bathrooms and laundry. The freeway and airport noise was constant. No cable and we were not able to hook up to the wifi or get TV channels. Sites are tight so you get to look right into your neighbor's windows. Mostly full time residents. The club house is a small room between the bathrooms with some old tired games. For $126 we would have been better off parking on the street. The only plus is that you can walk to the ocean side of the park to whale watch but that can be seen even better from the street. This is no resort!

Paid a deposit in June to hold a reservation for 10 days in mid-August with a friendly and helpful employee Cherry. On Aug 2, had to cancel the reservation because the meeting in SF was postponed until next year. With only 2 weeks to reservation, I wasn't sure if I was ever going to get my deposit back. Fortunately I had another friendly and helpful employee, Mr. Lewis, to assist me with the cancellation. Assured Mr Lewis it was ok to hold the deposit as I had plan to make another reservation (dates uncertain) next year. Mr Lewis explained he'd simply cancel my reservation and return the deposit to me. Now that is two of two helpful and kind employees San Francisco RV Resort has hired! Thank you!

The views were amazing. Whale watching from the park every day. Dog walk onsite and other trails nearby. The hot tub was not available and one set of restrooms were closed. We have found our SF camping site!

One star based on location. It's a nice view out over the Pacific. But that's it. It's literally falling into the ocean. Most of the spaces left are full of full-timers. The bathrooms are in disrepair. Worst of all, this is considered a "premium" resort through Encore Thousand Trails. Which means you pay full price, even though you've paid $1000/yr for membership. That's correct...your membership gets you NOTHING! Oh, there are 10 spaces reserved for TT members. But of course those are taken by the full timers. Plenty of empty spots, but ZERO consideration for members. In fact, it's BETTER to be a non-member. That way, you can log in and pay your $200/night without any hassle. If you're a member, they tell you "limited space available...please call". But they don't answer the phone. When you finally navigate your way through their phone system to talk to a human, they tell you there's space you can pay for...but no member spots. So you have to log out to even reserve a space. Totally absurd. Total scam. Save your money and park on the street like so many others.

The folks in the office were amazing and so accommodating to us! We had a bit of an emergency situation when our truck’s engine blew while we were 2 hours from our site. They gave us the name of an amazing RV repair service (Ramirez Services) who towed our rig from the highway shoulder up to this campground - arriving late at night. The stay was pleasant and the view was beautiful! We are so grateful for the incredibly helpful people we met!

If you want to fall asleep with the sound of ocean waves rolling in, then this is the place for you. RV spots with full hook-ups available for up to 5 months at a time. The staff is great and always ready to help. The facilities are older but are kept clean.

Friendly staff at front desk/lobby, clean bathroom/showers, coin/app operated laundry room. Dog friendly with large area to walk dogs on leash with poop clean up stations. Beautiful beach front view!
