This place was exceptionally well maintained the views are fantastic and the fishing when you do catch something it's worth the catch. Even though the bathrooms were outhouses, they did not smell like your normal outhouses in other parks. In fact they smell better than most restrooms you can find in restaurants and businesses.

Just spent 3 nights at this campground. Beautiful, clean, fairly private sites. Hosts were excellent. Water access was great even from non-waterfront sites. Restrooms were cleanest we've ever encountered. Only peculiar thing is the National Forest Service's online reservation system; showed nearly all sites reserved, but only about a 3rd were when we got there; many showed open and FF. which is not noted on the reservation site. Hope they can improve that.

The camp host, Terry and his wife Candy are an amazing couple. 👏 Facilities and campsites are clean and well taken care of. Kid and pet friendly our boys had an amazing time here.

Lovely campground with great camp hosts. Nicely wooded and shady. Campsites don't have electricity or water. Water is available in many parts of camp. Cell phone service for AT&T is very sketchy and Verizon is not available

Such a great campground! It is very close to the reservoir, secluded but close to the road and the hosts were fantastic! They helped us with some last minute changes to our reservations and came by to check on the guests frequently bringing treats for our pup!

Super chill spot with plenty of shade and beautiful views. There’s a vault toilet that doesn’t smell bad and is fairly clean. If you plan on fishing make sure to get your fishing license handy. The park ranger was quick to spot us and ask for it. We had no problem with cell service. Overall great experience! I will definitely be back.

Five stars when water in lake, 1 star when empty. Been going here for years . Always beautiful, last visit they failed to tell us and other campers that the lake was 90% empty . Was not happy to find this out after driving 8 hours , bought a kayak for no reason.
