This is a small ownership RV Park that may not be expected to have all the conveniences of a GOOD SAM type recommendations. But: We did not stop here for a major retreat. We needed a good, clean, and convenient RV stop for 3 nights near our family staying in a B&B very nearby. Sandcastle has a Wi-Fi good enough for email and browsing. But, T-Mobile has a full 5G HD coverage for using "Hotspot" for Streaming to view Netflix, etc. (Not an advertisement for T-Mobile...that is just what we use.) The owner is pleasantly picky about order and cleanliness which is good. He has new/clean a men and a women's showers (only one each)! There wasn't a line of persons waiting to use. (Be sure to bring a sewage hose support with you to keep the sewage hose off the ground and for complete drainage! Otherwise one has to disconnect the hose and store between draining the tanks. I actually think this is a good idea and will purchase one for future use.)

We stayed at this campground for just a couple of days in the beginning, and then extended our stay because we were having a good time. Campground was very clean in order bathrooms showers all clean, good order and the host and manager. Don was very nice to deal with and very helpful when needed. He is a one-man show and does it very well. Thank you Don for making our stay. Very pleasant.

We stayed here several summers before selling our RV. Don is great and this is an extremely affordable way to stay at Long Beach. Just like any RV site in the area, the spots aren’t huge, but there’s great and convenient access to all Long Beach has to offer (don’t forget to hit Cottage Bakery). The grounds are well cared for and it’s clear there is a lot of pride in the upkeep of the facilities. If we end up with another RV, we know where we’ll stay.

First trip in our travel trailer was this weekend. We arrived at Sandcastle and Don help marshal me in. I must of watched 100 videos on getting set up but Don walked through each part and it was really considerate of him to help a newbie. The park was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this park!!!

We liked the park because of the distance to town and the beach. We were a 10 minute walk from the “downtown” area and about 15 minutes from the beach. There’s also a nice paved walkway near the RV park that runs parallel with the ocean. We also really appreciated the laundry being included in the price! Only “downside” is that there isn’t much shade in the middle lots. Owner was friendly and helped us out with a flat tire.

This place is a great! It is close to the main part of town and within walking distance to the beach. The owner helps guide you into your space if needed. The bathroom is newly remodeled with 2 stalls and a shower The added bonus for me is the heater in the shower stall and the shower wand for full rinse. The bathroom is also very clean and well stocked! I would highly recommend the Sand Castle RV park. Also, I would suggest you request the grass spaces which we will do next time.

My family and I just stayed here the week of the 4th of July. Super cute RV park and the owner was very friendly. Would have given 5 stars, however the shower stall could use an update (or a good scrubbing!) Make sure you have a quarter, because it costs you one for a 15 minute shower 😀 Double vanity in the women's restroom was really nice. My daughter and I could spread out our things to get ready, with room to spare. Easy beach access and walking distance from downtown. Will stay here again!
