This is a 1400+ site resort for RVs, 95% are full time park model RVs. This surrounds Monterey Lake between Hopkins and Dorr towns. My wife has been coming here since her grandfather was a founding associate member. Several nice clean rest centers with modern showers and facilities, I believe there's more than four swimming pools, an adults pool, a splash pad with water slide for the children, a wonderful place to go and ride golf carts all day. So many memories. Yes it's not cheap! It's a gated facility with 24/7 security. It's neat, clean and safe camping resort

This is the second year that I have attended Christmas in August. I love the community participation! Nearly everywhere I looked, it looked like Christmas, but without the snow. Bright and colorful decorations abounded and the nearly full orange moon reflected across the lake, as if it were participating in the celebration. How about some Christmas music broadcast on a loud speaker system throughout the park next year?

Just went for the weekend and haven't been since a child. We had a ball until it was time to sleep 😴. Cabins are very small and beds are hard and there's no microwave so no way to heat up your food SMH for the price they should at least have microwaves lol there's already no bathroom and the shared bathroom that u have to drive to isn't very clean. But we still made the best of it.. live band at the beach .. Even had the pleasure of being pulled over by Phil the park police who was very very polite unlike ciry cops.... They have a bbq place called Porters smoke house right b4 u enter sandy pines and it's a 10 out of 10

We stayed here this past weekend with a five and 10-year-old. Such an incredible experience. The campsite’s Were Large with plenty enough room to accommodate two large Tents and a screen house. So much to see and do. And the adults had just as much fun as the children! The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the girls had such a great time with the lifeguards during the kids swim. We were so happy to have a golf cart to get around in because there is so much to see and do. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this for your next family vacation

Very nice campground. Lots of shade and trees. Awesome lake and other amenities. Paths are a little narrow and hard to navigate with all the one ways but overall it's probably one of the best camping spots in the are.

Pretty hiking area. Meadows and forest. Hill and dale. Serene. Dogs on leash. Not an area to run dogs off leash. To do so would ruin it for all.

Amazing place with amazing amenities. Lots for everyone to do and still feels like it's not overcrowded. This being my first time, I was aware of the time constraints we would encounter. The golf cart rental place closed at 4, so we lost out on our first day of rental due to showing up shortly after 4pm. Being in phase 3 means you've got at least a 10 minute ride to the main attractions. The bathrooms and showers in phase 3 are amazing! Fair trade for the adults.
