My white water rafting trip with Sawtooth Adventure Company was an absolute triumph, largely due to our phenomenal guide, Hans, whose unparalleled expertise and radiant passion elevated the experience to extraordinary heights. Hans’s remarkable ability to foster a safe and nurturing environment allowed us to fully embrace the exhilarating rapids with confidence and joy. His eagle-eyed vigilance gifted us with breathtaking wildlife sightings, including a regal bald eagle and a graceful osprey, moments that felt like pure magic. With an encyclopedic knowledge of the area, Hans wove captivating stories and delightful tidbits about the region’s history and ecology, making every paddle stroke a journey through time. His infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for each of us transformed the trip into a soul-stirring adventure that will live in my heart forever. Sawtooth Adventure Company’s flawless organization and top-tier equipment were the perfect backdrop to Hans’s masterful guidance. I can’t sing Hans’s praises loudly enough—he’s a true legend, and this company is a gem for delivering such an awe-inspiring experience! As a reminder! Your guide may tip you over, but you can't overtip your guide!

We had an incredible time doing two different day trips with Sawtooth Adventure Company! The guides were so fun, they were well prepared, the stretches of river were perfect for the different group trips we did.

We had a great day rafting with Sawtooth Adventure Company! Our guide, McCoy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel really safe! It was a blast to raft, hike, jump off a rock, and have a delicious lunch with this outfitter! We would definitely take another trip with them in the future! Thanks!

This is a great outfit. Very fun but professional staff. We had a great run in the river. McCoy was a fantastic guide with tons of knowledge of the river, history, and fishing. We hit some great rapids and got wet. Highly recommend!

I was at the IMPA conference in Sun Valley and chose whitewater rafting as my event. Such a great experience and the Pierce the guide was an expert and super funny. I'm still laughing about the deer cable car story! I look forward to choosing this event next year as well!

Absolutely the BEST! We did the family float. Relaxing float down the river at our own pace. Stopping along the way for snack breaks and drinks. Highly recommended for the customer service alone, not even including the breathtaking views!

16 of us did the Twilight Rafting and it was great!! Sam was our guide and was super friendly, knowledgeable, and lots of fun! Our group stopped to hike/rock skip and Sam is quite the skipper. We also did some rock jumping and got to see cool tricks. We really enjoyed our dinner on the river, enjoyed our beverages, and played some Cornhole. We will definitely be going back to do another trip. We were on a road trip with the Cobra group and this was just the adventure we needed. The pictures Judd captured were amazing and captured the fun we had. Thank you so much to everybody that made our rafting amazing! Highly recommend!!

We just got back from an amazing rafting trip with Sawtooth Adventure guided by Addy! This was a family trip which included our 83 year old father. Addy was the perfect guide. She watched over our family member, but made sure we all had fun. Addy entertained and educated us on the history of Stanley and the challenges the river faces. She guided us through crazy rapids, instigated a water fight, enticed us into swimming and rock jumping, and served us a delicious, healthy lunch. The whole experience was fantastic. A special "thank you" to Addy for making our family trip so memorable.

We had a great experience river rafting! Our group of 16 was well taken care of. Our ages ranged from 11-55. It was a great family activity! The guides were knowledgeable and SO fun! We loved Addy and Mya! I appreciated the pictures that were taken as we went through the rapids. They are priceless! It’s now something we want to do every time we visit Stanley!
