Location & Surroundings
Positioned directly at the base of "A" Mountain, the park offers a stunning desert backdrop while remaining firmly integrated into the Tucson city grid. The environment captures the unique intersection of rugged mountain terrain and historic urban neighborhoods.

Who This Park Is Best For
This park is ideal for urban explorers who want to trade long commutes for immediate access to city life and dining. It is a fantastic choice for those who prefer paved, big-rig friendly sites over rugged, primitive camping environments. Nice small walled in park, fairly quiet at night despite the main road. Sites like most city rv parks are very close together which is so frustrating and a money grab by the owners. The park host was friendly and helpful. With a couple of eateries and a supermarket across the road makes it convenient. Recommendations……. Who ever designed the small dog run is obviously unaware that dogs come in different sizes, the whole point is to let your dogs off leash but mine being small can slip through the railings, I would suggest some chicken wire to stop this from happening. Also the huge rec room is a total waste of space which obviously gets little to no use, so why not down size the rec room and build shower units? Yes I would recommend Sentinel for a short stay.

This was not what I was expecting. It is a tiny cramped park in the middle of Tucson. It worked for a one night stay. There were no staff available to help us at the park. If I remember correctly, the WIFI was pretty bad. The pedestrian gate code didn't work. Not my thing. I was appreciative of having a space for the night.

I almost hate to hype this place up cause I don’t want them to always be booked and raise prices. But this place is exactly what I wish most RV parks were. Yes it’s simple. There aren’t many amenities, but it has everything you need. Sites are clean, hookups are good. But most importantly the price is reasonable and the location is great. There is also so little friction getting checked in. I loved that I could just book online, and then pull into my site. Didn’t even have to talk to anyone haha

We had a very large, paved, level, pull through site. Stayed 2 nights, no issues. We felt safe and secure. There is a small doggie area and a large park down the street. Nice little place. Great customer service even though I don’t think there is anyone on site. Would come back if we’re in the area!

We had a great experience during our one-night stay, enjoying the cleanliness and peacefulness of the space. After a disappointing start at Sunshine Mile RV Park, we were thrilled to find this alternative RV site and make the most of our night.

There is no shower room, the pool doesn't work, there is no fire pit, it's a terrible experience

Not a place to stay with your campervan for a romantic night or you looking for a beautiful sunset or sunrise. It’s convenient as close to the interstates in Tucson and it is gated and has shopping and fast food places close by. Booking that place was easy too. Book online, pay and you’ll receive all info via text. Easy to handle. Actually not loud at night even it’s close to a road.

5 stars for this small, clean, gated and secure, quiet campground! We only stayed 1 night because we were passing through going up to Phoenix area. It was easy to book online (which I love) Full hookups. Plenty of room in the sites. Easy access from I-10. There are several small restaurants and a grocery store across the street for anything you need. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

I am very new to the RV Park life and live full time in my Keystone Sprinter. Sentinel Peak was the first place I started and my experience was great. After reading several reviews about the park not having shower facilities, I went to their website looking to see if showers were posted on the amenities list, which they are not. However, the restrooms and laundry facilities are an additional bonus! It's a very small, gated, well maintained park close to the downtown area and the authentic Barrio of Tucson. Shopping and many local delicious restaurants all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this park for short stays or long term.

Small park with nice sites and lots of services including a small pool and club house with pool table, TV, and games. Never saw any people in the office but questions were quickly answered by phone. Great location less than 2 miles from downtown and a mile from I-10. Some traffic noise from Grande but not bad. Only negative was lousy wifi service that could not support streaming.
